QForm VX simulation of cold forming technology of a valve is shown in the video. The technology consists of 5 operations of cold, closed die forging on a coldformer. QForm predicts exactly the same location of laps that occur in the real technology in the last forging operation, as shown in the last stage of the video. Also, simulation predicts very high effective stresses in the punch which will cause punch fracture in the last forging step. The real broken punch is shown in the video.
