Cold process soap making of Activated Charcoal and Turmeric soap

Күн бұрынI am making a simple Activated charcoal and turmeric soap. I was going for subtle wavy lines. Although simple the true super stars of these bars are the charcoal and turmeric. If you look at the benefits of activated charcoal and or turmeric you will see why I chose them for this soap.

Hi Kelly love wathching your videos thank you. I saw some white dots in the charcoal section, what is the reason for that? Love to learn more.

Thank you so much! The little white dots are from tiny air bubbles made from the stick blender. After so much use the seal behinds the blade can loosen up and cause this to happen. Dark colors tend to show them more than other colors.

What was the Turmeric amount used PPO? Does this color combo have staying power or does it fade at all?

Thank you! I find in my soaps with turmeric will slightly fade after about 6 months to a year. I’ve made it on and off for 20 yrs. I use around 1/4 tsp ppo. With no bleeding.

You could’ve waited for the charcoal to dig gif 2-3 hours then pour the turmeric but it’ll still be good 👍🏽
