Hey guys! Over the few years making videos I've had a lot of awesome people subscribe and support me over the long haul. I especially thank the first subscribers who started watching my video wayyyy back in the day haha. I used to do a bunch of these random videos and I always try to each year here and there. I know a bunch of people on youtube like to watch the cold start videos and since my channel has something for everyone, here you go! This is part 1 of 6 cold start videos I will be uploading today! This one is also a little longer because I have the back ground info, the other ones will be quite a bit shorter. So enjoy, like I said, I always have something for everyone :) Thanks everyone!

Insurance companies were against. In 1996 or 1995 Chevrolet brought up a sporty Tahoe SS but this one was in production only in 2000 (GMT400 body) and called Limited not SS. It just seems to me that insurance companies didn't like the idea of fast HEAVY trucks on the roads.

Just some advice as a northerner, when your door gets frozen, you can give a few modest taps to the center of the door to break up the ice. It won't dent unless you really beat on it. I make my hand into a fist then use the bottom of my fist because it's like a cushion. Keep in mind it really only works if ice has built up inside the door, due to bad/faulty weatherstipping or an excessive amount of rain followed by a deep freeze. Ugh Winter is a pain Kyle....stay where it's warm year round lol.

I just bought a 1994 Roadmaster estate wagon and it has never seen a winter..... amazing how much power it has when you consider that it weighs 4572 lbs.

YES Dolly is back! I liked seeing your cat when I first subscribed back in 2010; I don't care what any dog-obsessed jabroni says (nothing against dogs; i like them but can't stand people who act like they are their children). Its always a nice touch to your videos and it looks like I got less snow here in NJ which is unusual. Its good though I can't stand cold weather or snow, but on the other hand I can deal with hot and humid weather; it doesn't really bother me since I have AC! lol

Exterior body shape looks like Aunt Bee after thanksgiving.Interior is like diving a Bark-o-lounger (very comfy).Power Plant is un-believable Corvette engine back up with a truck transmission.These cars are a little loafy.Better get some KYB shocks to rectify that.All in allOne hell of a car.

@SAFJoao It's not the snow I have a problem with, the issue is the tons of salt that gets spread all over the roads to keep snow/water from freezing. Not only is it not good for the environment but it also destroys the asphalt over time, and eats away at steel at an alarmig rate. If you have a car you like, you do not drive it in winter. not to mention all the snow removal and other things living in a colder climate presents.

When was this recorded? Well I can't say s*** about the snow. Here in South FL it dropped to a 'freezing' 60 degrees. BTW I love your videos.

@biglinc1 I really hope this new substance is a good answer. It's scary to see the I-beams on highway overpasses with rot holes in them. And it's sad to see such classic beautiful cars such as Kyle's Roadmaster, and older vehicles, as nothing but rot boxes with only a glimpse of what these cars once were.

@saabkyle04 Ahh I see. That sounds pretty cool. I've always said I would always drive an old car (partly because I have no money haha) but I currently drive an old 1995 BMW 525i and the build quality of the older cars are far superior to newer cars. I also had a 1989 Mercedes 230 CE (which I just sold today) so I can completely understand why you love older cars. Anyway, I love what you do on the KZfaq, Keep up the good work :) Regards

E Lee Kaiser you are supposed to use 5w-30 but 10w-30 is acceptable too. that's it

they where, at one point general motors had two plants producing those cars and had the two plants compete one against the other for fewer defects.. The Arlington plant won.

Don't wanna look like a troller, but what is the point of making cold start videos? No offense, just asking.. cuz I live in Canada and I dont really see any difference on my car on start when its summer 77°F or winter at 14°F. Anyways, nice videos and keep it up! :)

@simplepersons123 This works sometimes, until it refreezes, I'm so sick of winter..I just wanna move somewhere warm where I can drive a classic year round and not have to worry about it being devoured by salt in 5 years.
