Cold Steel machetes are ridiculously durable. I used to own the original katana machete and went to TOWN on some trees. I was actually chopping down trees that were something like 6 inches in width. How I only got the polypropylene handles to slightly crack at one of the rivets and not BREAK during all that abuse is beyond me because I was a lot younger, dumber, and hellbent on destruction. I miss having one of those old style katana machetes, just would be a pain in the ass to actually FIND one.

Hey big daddy I’ve heard that the Lansky two sided puck sharpener for axes. Also does an excellent job on machetes for sharpening

do you have the Cold steel black bear bowie machete? thats my bush knife going on 4 years. Nothing ive found is that light weight, durable, multifunctional and quick on the draw and i have around 235 blades
