Welcome to this example/review of character generation for Free League's version of Twilight 2000. In this part I look at generating a basic infantryman character using the rapid archetype method. A further part covering the more complex life path will follow.
Please note the mistake when calculating the hit capacity and stress, they are the average of 1/2 of the attributes, not the average of the attributes.

Thanks for the play through. Really needed the advice. One thing if he is from NYC then his lucky coin could be a Subway Token.

Hit cap is calculated with the average of (Str/2) and (Agl/2), which means that if you have Str A (d12) and Agl D (d6) you will have a hit cap of the average of 6 and 3, which is 4,5, rounded up to 5. This is not completely clear to be honest (and the extra checkboxes doesn't help) but if we are looking at various NPC in the Referee's Manual we can see that it the case.

A letter converts to a die type? Why, not just use the die type?

It's something they do in all their games by the look of it. It could be to stop confusing when adding and subtracting so that D+2=B, not D6+2=D10 not D8.
