@@Marthabethisjoe That too.. If barry died (old one) then thawne wouldn't be able to go home (which he won't anyways - but he doesn't knows).... But earlier thawne yells at barry allen (future ver.) that he has brought time wraiths as he is messing with timeline and suggests him to fix that.. So this clearly shows that he is afraid..

Tharen definitely didn’t want younger Barry to see another earth or another time, but the reason he himself was scared was due to every speedster being terrified of time wraiths and black flash as well. Barry is the only one who would run after one and attack it straight on with no fear

I have a legit quesrion , later on in the show its explained that a time rememant is created whenever a speedster travels back in time by like a second before he left, making 2 of the same speedsters. So in this episode whenever barry traveled back too season 1, was the other barry technically a time remenant ??
