They've done the same thing at every concert for years, it is a good concept though, never understood why people feel the need to film the whole time - nothing wrong with a few clips but I've seen people literally watch an entire concert through their phone screen.

You're right - Chris Martin and his band have an extraordinary ability to connect everyone and spread the love. I'm so curious about it I will do some research, because he seems to be channelling light straight from spirit (not to be too woo woo about it). I bet he's had some kind of spiritual awakening, maybe they all have, this band... if he has, this is great, we need more of that spread around.

One of the greatest bands at live events. The amount of work that goes into these shows, from Brazil all the way to Glasto, it's just amazing work by the band itself but the team behind all their set designs, pyrotechnic crews, lighting crews. Amazing. The sell an experience and not just something but musical but spiritual
@thedigitalemotion
@thedigitalemotion Күн бұрын
And that is exactly what is wrong with them, selling a religious experience rather than raw music and passion. To need to over self indulgent pyros, lights, visuals because the music alone won’t cut it. Pathetic.

@sloht4061 Күн бұрын
@@thedigitalemotion Bro, it's an experience. If you dont like the experience and can't appreciate the immense work behind the band, not just the band, but the effort the guys behind the scenes go to, to make this happen, you're not a music fan. You're a casual who is stuck inside their own affiliated genre and refuse to atleast appreciate hard work.

@@sloht4061 You Coldplay fans are laughable. You go on about this band as if you're experiencing the second coming of Jesus Christ. You are being hypnotised by a well thought out LED light show rather than the music. No wonder they're the most polarising band on the planet, people love or completely hate them. They sold out to masses with their monotonous "every song sounds the same" style of writing. The early songwriting days of this band were far better when they had the struggle ahead of them, and the passion to write excellent well thought-out music. Now, it's easy "happy major chord" melodies time and time again for the simpletons like yourself that have no musical depth in your music repertoire. I bet my bottom dollar you wear Chris Martin hipster pants on with a peace symbol and you've saved your little LED wrist band from when you last saw them live. Again, absolutely pathetic.

That's what every gig I went to 1988-2010 was like. We lived every moment without even thinking about it or having to be told to. You just can't hate Coldplay for asking the crowd to do this just for one song. And it's an amazing song. My kids age 10 and 7 know it from sing 2 and they were like wha wha what's this?!?😂😂 And they were flabbergasted. It's what music is about. That closeup shot of each of the lads in the band during the singalong at the end and their emotion was masterful. Many people know and recognise Chris Martin but can just imagine the journey all of them have been on together to get to that moment

Absolutely friggin fantastic..... Concerts have certainly changed since I used to go to them back in the 70s and 80s. The stage lighting is absolutely phenomenal... Could anyone tell me how on earth do the lighting technician's manage get the audience's wristbands to light in synchronization please?....... Absolutely brilliant!!! I will confess, I'm not a big fan of massive crowd's but that was absolutely brilliant and possibly one of the best concerts I've had the pleasure of witnessing.... Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I certainly did.
