The album Ghost Stories was basically the band enveloping Chris and supporting him through his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow. He struggled with depression and shut down a bit, but with the support of the boys and their music, this album was created. Many of the songs do sound sweet, but when you know the background, there’s sadness as well.

Ghost stories is just the most beautifully tragic album .. it’s about his divorce you should learn some things about Chris he’s just an amazing human and what Coldplay is about is so powerful. Sometimes when you just listen to random songs you don’t get the scope of what Coldplay is about at its core !! Watch some interviews ❤️

As you can guess, Coldplay fans cherish Chris and the boys, we do not like Gwyneth, Chris was in a bad way, so Guy, Jonny, Will, looked after Chris, all lived at guys house and made the Album Ghost Stories. It was Chris therapy, but what a lot of people don’t know there was an actual song that didn’t make it on to the Album called “Ghost Story”, it was released later quietly, you can find it on KZfaq. Think it was too personal to him, when you watch the video you feel the band saying” don’t worry Chris, we got you” definitely watch it, but also the album “Ghost Stories” see the different spelling
