I've been saying this for so long. Their two first albums will always be their best. I was lucky enough to see them before they became super famous. They were touring for AROBTHH and they basically played the whole Parachutes album during the show, it was amazing.

I love how Guy's just sitting on the stage and playing like a boss. Chris' voice never disappoints me

So, there was I, 14, filled with dreams and goals, even though I suffered a lot of bullying during my last year of middle school I never gave up. There was this teacher, the best one I've had. She used to call me "the romantic" because I used to write poems and stuff. There were this friends, the came and went with time, I really miss them, miss when we used to all get on the top of the stairs in the yard and watch the teachers, mocking them. But there was this girl, she was 12, two years younger than me, she really liked me, but I fell in love with someone else in that time, she knew it but didn't care and strived to stay by my side, she was always there, to hear me, to laugh with me, to cry by my side, to make me feel loved. With time we became the secret-keepers of each other, we fell in love but not in the boyfriend-girlfriend way, I wanted to protect her and always looked up to her, I always needed to know that she was okay. There was this particular night when she asked me to take her to her house, I was fifteen, it was night, I was scared as hell and i let her go on her own. The minutes, hours and days passed and I knew my mistake, since then I became her "protector" I would always take her home, safe, sound and always good. By this time I left highschool (15) because of the social anxiety bullying produced over me but she was there for me. I remember watching her smile while telling funny things about her classmates, I remember when I saw her crying over a boy (yes, I thought of going and break that mf legs), I remember when I picked her up and she was over my shoulders, lol, we were thinking that no one was watching and did stupid things all the day. When I was 17, she was 15, we saw each other, it was one day after my birthday (her birthday is 11 days far from mine), I was dealing with a break up, she had a boyfriend by that time... and I tried to kiss her, I didn't knew what I was feeling and she kissed me back, it was so spontaneous, we were like really in love with each other, she never stop feeling the things she did since she was 12, she confessed me that a lot of times. We didn't knew what was going to happen, we didn't knew if it was going to be okay or whatever, we just layed in the grass, silent, without saying a word, I looked at her and she looked beautiful, the sun filtrating from the trees and hitting her face, her nose, her eyes, her lips, she looked so beautiful, I was lost. Suddenly she spotted a stain in my pants (yes, it was what you are thinking), lol, I was so embarrassed and It's still embarrassing to this day, I'm still embarrassed lol, but she didn't care, I took her home and made my way back to mine, in the middle of my way it started raining and I got fully wet, I was so glad because my pants got all wet and I called her to say sorry for everything, if I made her feel uncomfortable or anything. The following days we talked like nothing happened, I didn't knew what to think, she was still with her boyfriend at that time and i felt so alone. I stopped talking with her around September of 2019, when I was 17 because the suicide episodes began, panic attacks with self harming tendencies and the idea of killing myself. She called me, she texted me, she cared for me but I never answered, she wrote specifically "did I do something wrong?, Please answer :(" and it only made me more sad. Time went flying like a bird, my sweet girl (I used to call her like that) grew up. Now I'm 9 days far from being 19... She is 17 now... I tried to kill myself two times the last week, I never felt this alone in my life since I was 17... A few days ago I was at this café when I got a call, the voice said "hey" it was a female voice but I couldnt recognise it, it said "you disappeared" (I erased all of my social media), I said "well, that's what I do", she laughed and said, "you don't know who am I right?" I replied "well, you could be anyone and no one at this point, maybe I'm even imagining this whole phone talk" (I thought it was another friend I have), then she replied "no, I'm your sweet girl"... I completely freezed, nothing was passing through my mind but memories and a horrible mix of feelings; nostalgia, happiness, sadness and sorrow... I could only reply with a knot on my throat "your voice changed... How did you find me?". I tried not to sob in front of my brother and the whole café and i suddenly said "you know what?, The CIA is looking for me, erase my number and never, ever call me again" and I hanged... I really tried not to cry in front of everyone but as soon as I arrived to my home I layed on my bed, put this song she taught me and started to cry and sob like nothing else mattered I really wanted to get the same call that night, I was so stupid and her voice changed, my sweet girl, she grew up and I wasn't there for her, I ran away like a coward, she used to say that this song reminded her of me and fuck, I'm crying again. I wanted to be there for her, when her voice changed, when she grew up but I don't know anymore, my therapist said that I push people away from my life before they do it but I wanted to be there for her. Maybe we will never talk again, my sweet girl, but I just want you to know that you will always have the biggest part in my heart, maybe we will never talk again my sweet girl but I just want you to know that I will always protect you, maybe we will never talk again my sweet girl, but if you are reading this, I just want to say that I love you, I will always do and no one will do it as I do, that 12 year old girl is now a woman, that little 12 year old girl I strived to protect at all cost now can protect herself, that little girl of 12 years old who talked me first and sent me a letter on that Valentine's day of 2017 will always live in my heart, I miss you so much, I hope you have the most wonderful life... I will always remember you with this song you taught me that rainy night of 2018 when we talked for 7 hours, since midnight to the breaking dawn, I love you, and finally... I just want you to know that you will always be... My sweet girl.
