I enjoyed your "Ghost Adventure" and laughed when you were in that tiny orange tent with the winds about to blow you away! I love how you have fun with all your adventures. GOD BLESS you Luke for bringing some enjoyment to me!!

I had basal cell cancer on my forehead. It was removed by excision. Seven years later a different dermatologist discovered that it had not all been removed & had grown back under the skin. It was the size of a half dollar & touching my skull. He did Mohs surgery & was able to remove all of it. I have to look very closely to see the scar now. Skin cancer can happen to anyone. We have to really watch out for it. I'm glad you shared your experience.

First, thank you for sharing your story on finding out about your skin cancer. My father has been dealing with it since he served 21 years in the US ARMY. I also served 7 years Active US ARMY myself and got out in 2023. This year just days after my birthday in February of this year I got diagnosed with leukemia. Since finding out my diagnosis I found your channel. With not working right now I stay home and watch your videos and find them very pleasant. Thank you and continue to do what you do

I have been pretty grateful to our local firefighters here in WV. We had a fire within 1/2 mile of our house. I had all of my important papers stuffed in my go-bag and had our escape route planned. Our awesome volunteer firefighters had it out in about an hour. On a side note: everytime I watch one of your videos, I find myself pausing the video and getting up to cook something good.

Forgot to mention about your 4Runner...Mine is not quite up to yours but Ragnar was born in October of 1997 in Japan. He was one of the best class of 4Runners of all time. He now has over a quarter million miles and is riding smoother than ever. I tell him all the time how wonderful he is and he wags his bummer. Make sure you tell your pal how great he is and he will never let you down.

I worked for a coffee company at their headquarters. A coffee bean is like a barrel of oil. Different chemicals come out at different temperatures. The higher alkalis that come out above 198 degrees cause more bitterness and give you the shakes if you drink enough of it. For a smoother, less alkaline taste and effect...... don't boil the grounds. Keep the water below boiling. We aimed in our machines to keep it at about 196-198. The owner started the business the same year as Starbucks, after touring Europe and learning the biz. When I left he had 8 of his own restaurant/coffee shops and well over a thousand companies that bought his beans and used his equipment. Allann Brothers Coffee out of Albany Oregon. No bean was in the warehouse more than 36 hours. Taste testing, surprisingly, is done after the coffee has cooled. Anyway..... it's all chemistry. Try it with cooler than boiling as well as boiling and see if you can tell the difference. It should be less bitter.

Definitely glad to hear your skin cancer is under control. It’s always important to get a second opinion, especially if you feel the treatment plan is crazy. Speaking of which, it’s day 45 of the new chemo(Ivosidenib). 🤙

There was a controlled burn on Dobson Knob, right near where you were camping. The air was rough in parts of McDowell, Avery, Yancey, Burke, and Mitchell Counties from it.

Wow I like that Coleman Canopy! What an ordeal you went through with the skin cancer! You are so right in saying you must be your ow advocate. Too quickly do doctors want you to be prescribed Too often do doctors want to prescribe a pill rather further investigating the root problem/ you have to persist for what and how you want things. I'm so glad that you have it more under control now.

Cowboy coffee is by far the best way to make it. You can get by with only a 3.5 minute boil. This takes the bitter tannes out and neutralizes the acid. If you boil it too long, it can have an adverse reaction to the taste. I've never overboiled it, so I'm not sure how the taste changes. Prayers for you and the cancer. Peace.

Thor for the 4Runner. I have been enjoying your videos for quite a long time. Have been through breast cancer, chemotherapy and radiation treatment. It is pretty amazing that chemotherapy comes in a cream. Great that you found a Doctor who listened and went to colleagues for suggestions and advice for your treatment. Greater that it is working. Blessings… - Ontario Canada

My husband has had multiple melanomas, some required Mohs surgery, some required the same topical chemo that you used. He's finally using sunscreen, gloves, and wears a wide brimmed hat. We have a lawn service, so we're in the sun a lot. I'm a big advocate for our health care. Glad you got more than one opinion! Sometimes doctors believe that they are infallible, which is crazy. So happy that you're doing so well ❤

very true about the fire, I was car camping with my 10yr old son for his first trip and even though it was not super cold it is very dry here in Melbourne Australia and we had a decent breeze so I explained it was not responsible to have the fire even though we wanted one. He is defiantly wanting to go again, a kids mind boggles at all the stuff going on out in the bush.

Speaking of sonic booms, I grew up within a few miles of WPAFB in Fairborn, Ohio. In the early to mid seventies, sonic booms were all the time. Man I do not miss that sound, at all!😅

If you had the fire you could also set up a go pro, and film what it’s like when a fire fighting helicopter drops a thousand gallons of water on you while you are camping! 😮 Great video, sorry to hear about your cancer. It’s becoming so common!
