The Coleman Saluspa is one of our top choices when it comes to inflatable hot tubs. We've had this Tub for about 2 months, and we're really enjoying it. It's remarkably easy to set up, takedown, and travel with. We've tried a couple different inflatable hot tubs, and so far, this one is our favorite.
Coleman makes a few versions of this hot tub, circle, and square, and jets ranging from 60 to 180. This is the 140 model; we've been quite pleased with the results.

I hope you can help me out with this, the end of the electrical plugin with the reset button where you plug into the electrical receptacle kept on popping off. So he changed the end to a regular 3 prong electrical end without a reset button. Well they plugged it in and the spa started heating. My sister thinks that she wants to unplug it after each use. So the next day when she plugged it in the jets began to work but it wouldn't heat up. Then she got an error code 02 and then the jets quit working. We no longer have a reset button to push in. Can I purchase a new correct electrical end for it? Is there anything you could tell me to do?
@TubTalkReviews
@TubTalkReviews 11 ай бұрын
I’m not sure. I’m not sure I would have removed the plug. How long ago did you buy it and is it still under warranty? The code e02 most often come up for us when the filter is dirty, so you might just need to change or get a new filter. This code shouldn’t be an electrical issue and has to do with water not being pumped correctly through the tube

what’s your opinion on the likelihood of major leaks and/or catastrophic failure? I want to put it in my basement, throughout the -40C winters … it has waterproof floors and crappy old baseboards so even with a total collapse/dumping all water the damages wouldn’t be huge, just a pain to clean up…but would still like some assurance that this is possible and not bound to result in a flood

We are having problems with ours, started to deflate in the second year, and found the leak, and patched it. the third year the leak is even bigger, we still trying to figure it out that part. We already replaced a part from inside the pump (thank God for KZfaq it was $12 fix but it was a pain) I understand these things are not meant to last forever but it seems it comes with a lot of issues and Coleman doesn't have the support to fix the problems.

@TubTalkReviews
@TubTalkReviews 9 ай бұрын
@@esquire9445 I see your POV. Always best to contact your contractor before including one of these on your deck. from our research here is the formula to figure out the weight per square foot for this inflatable hot tub. Weight of Hot Tub + (Number of Gallons of Water x 8.34 lbs) + (Number of People Spa Can Seat x 185 lbs)] / # of Square Feet = Pounds Per Square Foot (50lbs)+(190 x 8.34) + (4 x 185lbs) / 19.63 square feet the pound per square foot on this hot tub is 83.29. Generally speaking a the size of the deck can hold the total area x 50 pounds per square foot. And that doesn’t necessarily mean a deck can only hold 50 psf, or else people would be falling right through their deck everyday. You use this equation to figure out the the total capacity the deck can hold. So a 12x12 deck can hold ~7,200 pounds. And that provides a general idea of the total weight a deck can hold. My point being I’ve seen plenty of traditional 500+ pound hot tubs out on decks. These lightweight inflatable hot tubs SHOULD BE fine. At the end of the day, each person looking to put one of these on their deck should contact their contractor to find out for themselves. This article covers it pretty well if you’d like to check it out: www.konacontractors.com/blog/how-to-determine-how-much-weight-your-deck-can-hold/

That really sucks! I wouldn’t be happy either. Is there an error code, or it’s just straight turning all the way off?? Could be a power supply issue if so. The control panel has a 360 day warranty, if so. Might be worth it to reach out to the manufacturer, to have them send a new one.
