I was so crushed when mickstape died becuase i had juat got into listening to all 4 hours while i was working in the cube. It was so great becuase it was basicly 2 firends hanging out and talking about any topic that came up. As someone who has followed Barstool before the Churnin deal, I always appreciate when I get this content that reminds me of what once was. Don't get me wrong, I love what's going on now in the company, but those old times were special and loved being a part of this wild journey that Barstool has been for a generation now. Coley is a walking encyclopedia of Barstool.

Love Coley. What a real dude. You can tell great people when you have different opinions on a lot of things and you still enjoy their conversation.

As someone who has roofed, did landscaping, farmed, and is now a stock broker…. I can tell you, all are hard but their are different levels. Physical work will always be harder than computer/video work. I would never go back to that now. KFC has just never worked outside in the south during the summer if he thinks content and blogging is equal or even close….

I think the idea of barstool having a "life after Dave" is some pretty wishful thinking.... With Dave the stock has gone down 40% in the last year, the idea that you can survive even with Dave isn't a sure thing, so I would expect as soon as Dave leaves the entire thing would implode. I think the stock price begs the question, wtf is going on because you keep opening new sports books and getting online gambling in new states but the stock only keeps going down.... It seems barstool is unable to hold onto personalities once they become extremely successful, and so how could barstool ever reach those new heights if once their personalities become relevant they leave? Barstool has no lack of tiktoc content but you've got absolutely ZERO NBA content now, so the audience that built barstool into what it is has been put on the back burner in favor of tiktoc and celebrity gossip, and the stock continues to plummet.... If I was you guys I'd be making sure what you're doing now will set you up for a career after barstool and that you're ready for this ship to sink at any moment. I hope barstool gets it's shit together but after the last few years it seems pretty doubtful. Thank goodness for the Pat Macafee show!
