I have a theory based only on the boot at the end that Donna is Mrs. Claus escaping the north pole to work in real estate and leave her husband. I keep rewatching to see if there's any other clues but apart from "Carol Carol" (which is a real stretch) it's really just the boot.

There’s so many fine details in the acting, editing, music that perfectly replicate horror films from the 80’s. For them to be put into comedy that’s played relatively straight and not slapstick is simply brilliant

I’ve had to pause this part way through to just comment on how mind blowingly Incredible this is. I was expecting to see a sub membership of 70K - 400K. the acting, the plot, and my god.. the cinematics...
