I find it’s always Anthony, the one who get shocked the most, and jumps in for second confirmation, when Colin announce his marriage proposal 😂 First when he was with Marina and now, for Penelope. Protective mode activated. It’s also so sweet that he reminds Colin to declare his true reasons to marry Penelope ❤ After all, Pen is very special to the family tho. And here we have Benedict, this goofy man, the audacity of him mentioning about the duel. Flashback inserts. Colin ain’t wasting his time to duel with his brothers when he has Pen “to do so”. When you know, you know 🤣🤣

I wonder what Penelope would have said to her mother if Colin never walked in. I imagine it would go something like this. “Entrap him? You would know all about that, wouldn’t you?” Her mother freezes in her words as Penelope takes a step closer to her. “I overheard you with Marina that season. Marina told you that she would seduce him and she would do what she must, not caring how her pregnancy by another man would affect Colin and his entire good family. And you were more than willing to let her do it. I never should have stopped you from having Marina marry another instead of him. But most of all, I’m grateful Marina’s scheme got uncovered. Colin deserves far better than a sham of a marriage. He is a good, kind, honest man who wants to marry me for me and I will marry him for him. Not because of his family name, money, rank or titles. Love Bennedits smile after Collin's explanation, It came to my mind, that in that moment Bennedit made sense to the akwarness and change of mode, Collin had shown just before his marriage announcement. Colling was strugaling with his feelins for Penelope. Just love that.
