I bought the Jordan Trainers last Christmas. Not only the best looking shoes I've ever owned, but they're freakin' comfortable. Jordan also has the best Logo. It's timeless. Plus, when you 3-peat TWICE in 8 years beating the other Greats in your Era ...doesn't hurt. The last team to 3-peat ONCE was Kobe/Shaq's Lakers.

This is one of the most classy, truthful, and tasteful segments I’ve ever seen. Jordan was honored and spoken with beauty here as he always should be. “Frozen In time” says it all. The best there is..the best there was..the best there ever will be. In my opinion not only the greatest basketball player of all time, but the greatest athlete.

Jordan definitely had swagger unlike any of those other players. But let's be honest, Jordan sells more shoes because they are the most comfortable and by far the best looking (and obviously because it's by far the longest lasting brand obviously). No other reason.

Jordan literally started the sneaker-head movement with 5 of the most iconic basketball shoes on Earth. Jordan had a more versatile game as far as attacking the Rim. Jordan had a 15 year head start on LeBron. Jordan. Jordan came up in the era of mystique, so not talking politics is not even a thought in his mind because it natural to him. Jordan is well-connected, has been and will continue to be. Jordan has more iconic basketball moments. And I don't even need to say it, but had a more iconic Championship runs, twice! Besides stats, which today's game has been adjusted to allow the ball handler to achieve better stats so the game looks more appealing to viewers, Jordan has LeBron on LOCK.

Jordan attained a level of basketball that nobody really thought could be achieved and he did it as an incredibly flashy scorer. He's the greatest scorer in the history of basketball (has the highest scoring avg. of all time at 30.1...even higher in the playoffs at 33.4) yet still had enough energy to be the best defensive shooting guard in history and was also the most clutch down the stretch in games. All of this while also being the most fierce competitor. Dude was ridiculous...

I think Colin is reaching for this one. The reason that "Jordan's shoes" sell so well because they are Air Jordans. They are a brand unto themselves. (Well, Nike). Air Jordans have been one of the best selling shoes on the planet for 30+ years, and I think the vast majority of people buying them are not thinking about the basketball player at all. He's in the back of their minds, sure...but Colin is over-analyzing this one.

He was marketed because his game did all the talking. What a lot of people don't realize is many superstar players are/were marketed in the same manner but their game couldn't keep up with the hype. The more marketing and hype placed on Jordan to reach a higher level, he exceeded it and marketing had to take it up more. That is what you all can't understand. No matter how high marketing set the bar, Jordan exceeded it with his game. Check the stats!

Roger Federer is 1 Athlete that has similarities to Jordan as far as "ICONIC" and coolness/swag etc etc...Federer is no Jordan but Both Have that ICONIC "IT" factor...That is why No matter what Djokovic/Nadal ever does Fed will still be the GOAT to the majority of Tennis and Fans
