Egg Tempra sure is a beautiful medium. I love how you say inspiration comes in the process itself. I have often waited for the inspiration to ignite within in me first but I was always left empty. Colin I need your advice, Ive recently gotten into egg tempera and was enjoying its advantages until I took a wet brush over areas and found the paint to be less than permanent. Yup a little scrubbing was all it took to wash the paint away. I let it dry for a day or two and even other paintings that Ive let dry for a few days seem to be the same way. what do you think Im doing wrong?
