Degenerative hearing loss meant Colin was unable to continue to work as an administrative assistant when he was no longer able to handle phone calls. The Restart Scheme opened his eyes to alternative career pathways and introduced him to local employer, Rebuild with Hope, who specialise in supporting disadvantaged jobseekers back into work. Colin’s journey has seen him progress from volunteer to retail assistant, to potential team leader.
