But Sanders was wide open AND running free into the end zone to clinch it... Jimmy G had his feet planted squarely and was not under nearly as much pressure, and he whiffed, it's as simple as that. I'll also point out the Sammy Watkins throw that was picture perfect when it needed to be for Mahomes as well to double-down on my point...

GREAT interview with Shannon! The man was a great player, he's objective, and he knows football! He is MUCH better without having to preach to Skip. Shannon was right about Jimmy G, he has to take better care of the football! He attempted to throw the ball in the 4th quarter as he was being tackled. He is fortunate that there wasn't a pick 6! He missed that throw into the End Zone with the game on the line. THAT's the fastest way to lose your job! He crapped his pants!

@@elitheeconomist5674 Maybe its because Rodgers' WRs are hot-trash and he always has to drop dimes on them when they are not open. If you watch Packers games, Rodgers has to throw guys open nearly every other pass. Most QBs don't have to/try to throw guys open very much at all. I highly doubt that stat is accurate. Maybe it counts all those times he had to throw guys open. Does it count times where the ball was completed yet might have been picked if it was a little off etc.?

Jimmy G is who he is: Solid game manager, not an upper echelon top-10 QB. The top-10 guys have the ability to go out and make plays in the highest pressure situations. Mahomes was indeed mediocre for much of the game, but he made the biggest plays when it absolutely mattered most. Its why NFL historians continue to talk about QBs like Joe Montana and not QBs like Danny White.

When ever a penalty cost a team the game you have to call it. 3rd and 15 for kc that 44 yrd pass tp hill fischer was bear hugging bosa. Actually he was holding him all game but that was a obvious hold that needed to be called

One penalty doesn't cost you a game, not stopping Mahomes in the 4th cost them the game. If you hang your hat on one play, you probably don't deserve to win. It's why you get 4 downs.

I loved the beginning of this super bowl. First the part with the Johnny cash was amazing. Then the 100 team with a lot of the players being on the field was just wow. It almost made me emotional a little. Especially when they showed the qbs. Seeing all of those greats together, almost as if they’re on the same team for once, I started clapping and cheating. Favre, Marino, Brady, Manning, Montana and elway. Elway was my childhood hero along with cunningham(I’m an eagles fan). Gosh that was awesome.

@NDP_03 had they taken the time outs maybe they wouldn't have needed to throw that deep. They had plenty of time for multiple runs and timeouts

@NDP_03 bro watch it again. Andy reid forced shanahan to make a play. Kc calls a timeout on 3rd down forcing the niners to make a play which they converted big and got into scoring range. Had they called that timeout from the get go they wouldve had atleast 1:30 with 2 timeouts which wouldve been plenty of time to score plus get momentum plus confidence in jimmy
