my dad always tells me a story of a potato farmer that went to check his machine after a funeral. the tie got caught and he got decapitated. my cringe is hard when i see his tie in the workshop

That's not just using the motor to half of it's capacity, but 1/4, as doubling both volts and amps would quadruple the wattage. Holy hell what a motor!

@Martyr4JesusTheChrist It's not stated, and was meant as sarcasm. But many manufacturers do use it for hybrid logos etc. The I8 was launched with blue accents, Hyundai Ioniq PHEV accents of blue, Toyota hybrid logo yup thats blue. Mitsubishi PHEV badge:blue. I am sure I could go on.

No. The bigger circumference on the drive wheel makes for higher top speed. And he still had grip so the power was being used.

@@grantadamson3478 Marginally larger. He's losing more to the shitty power transference than he gains in wheel circumference. The low friction wheel hurts him the most is in acceleration. so 0-51mph is definitely a lot slower with the PVC.

You're right, but missing the main point. It's a DRIFT trike build. The PVC is a big part of that drift. Without the PVC, it's not what it's intended. He couldn't do the 5 minutes of cool drifts without the PVC.

@@Scrufyn with traction, as long as the ESC he's using supports it,he'd be able to slow down with regenerative braking from the motor. Grip rolling would be a big problem at those speeds though

Driving a ELECTRIC motorized drift trike, around a formula E track, going as close to 50 as you can, wearing a helmet with thick padding, that muffles your voice but your joyously screaming at everyone nearby anyways, set to a song that I'm 90% sure is about "Macho Man" randy savage. That sounds like a GREAT day.

Y'know I've thought about this one, too! I was thinking of making a silly drifty insano powered one. But then a toned down one that's cheap and easy to build to give to bottle runners that go around our city. Just can't think of how it would charge for them without solar (if they're homeless) and a way to make sure they don't just flog it off for coin. Ended up making one of them silly 'kickstick's for the Skateboard, yet to test it on a trolley!!

Needs a set of tires like a all trained tires or like the front tire.Something that will bite the ground because it looks like the tires on the back are spinning twice as fast as you're going it may be just the camera but I love your work amazing.I bet you graduated high school for your classmates were still in the 4th grade.
