Right? This is the only time I've ever seen ASJ say anything negative about JDF (RIP), but I can't really blame him. JDF spent years in a one sided feud with him, talking all kinds of different stuff. At the end of the day, neither guy is a perfect human being.

@@mariaavalon3730 they both have fired tons of shots at each other over the years. It's no secret, but there is this thing called being a bigger person and taking the high road, but apparently doing the right thing isn't what ASJ had in mind. It almost seems like the roles have reversed actually. JDF has admitted he was wrong and he only wants everyone to get along now, in fact he's been begging for a full MMPR reunion with everyone INCLUDING ASJ. Meanwhile ASJ does this. Kind of sad and petty, honestly.

@@alexsolimani Yeah fuck that when someone goes low I go to hell. Honestly Austin showed enough patience dealing with Jason's catty comments. Once more when news came out about Austin's legal troubles Jason went on to insult him again. Of course now Jason's wife is leaving because allegedly he was catting around on her. Of course not saying I believe everything she is saying after all she is super Christian like he is and the Abrahamic faiths are the last refuge of the scoundrel so I wouldn't be shocked if she was doing the mess around as well. In fact according to one person lady is a bad drunk but we can wait and see. Hell Jason David Frank has has problems with every Red Ranger he worked with even Steve Cardenas though he and Steve made up. JDF definitely has a douchey ego at times.

They were young and on a popular TV show. Wish they had stuck together, but hard to judge them to harshly. Would be scary to gamble your career so young with little experience.

Actually it's JDF that has the beef. Whenever ASJ was questioned about the 2's rivalry, he never had anything negative to say about JDF. He gave which I thought was 1 of most maturest replies u can give in a costar rivalry. " At The End Of The Day, We're All on the same team." Sadly, I can't say the same bout JDF, he still seems to hold grudges. It's been over 28 yrs, they were teenagers then. They're now middle aged adults, it's time 2 let petty things like that go!!

@@prestonmcleod1726 I think they both have let it go They probably don't care anymore. They might not ever be friends maybe they just don't get on or like each other. Whenever they meet up at some event like the red carpet for 2017 movie they sure are friendly. I doubt we will see them punching each other at all. Would be so cool to see them at a convention together or in the show again. I do think it could happen one day.

He always used to rise above and not really say anything until the last couple of years, either somethings happened or he’s finally had enough of JDF always bad mouthing him. Considering all the terrible stuff Jason said about him publicly, for years, unprovoked, I don't think he will be losing any sleep over it. This is only time I know of that Austin publicly said something negative about him. Can't blame him. I have a lot of respect for JDF, but he was a douche the way he talked about Austin for years, over stuff he allegedly said when they were 18. Imagine if some kid from your high school publicly bashes you for decades over beef from back then lol.

All has been put to rest obviously. Not the way we wanted though.

@@stael2173 I don’t think the plan was for them to leave the show. Austin felt they weren’t getting paid enough and if they all grouped together and threatened to leave the studio would have no choice but to pay them they couldn’t replace everybody

I never heard that. The unaired epoisde was actually made in 1992 but was never aired. JDF and Thuy auditioned at the same time from what I heard. JDF just came in like a month or two later.

ASJ is a liar. Always has been. That’s why him and the rest of the cast never got along.

@@GeraltOfRivia99 wrong. Jason and Thuy auditioned AFTER the original pilot had already been filmed with the rest of the cast and the first Trini, Audrey Duboi. ASJ had already been cast long before JDF came along. This is a fact.
