I am crying because this song fits me and my husband who died of cancer 4 mos. ago. I am so lost without him. I sit in our house and am surrounded by his memory. Taking out the Christmas decorations was so painful since he meticulously put them away and his writing is all over the boxes. I know what a broken heart feels like. Sometimes I don't think I can take another breath. Thank you for letting me vent...this song is beautiful and it touches many.

@tays gram .. I feel your pain, right now... As my beloved husband passed away this July.. It is so raw at the moment, lots of 'little - silly' things set me off.. Or being asked by someone I haven't seen for a while, how is Phil doing... My heart just cracks some more.. :( Sending love and my very best wishes to you.. from Wales...

My husband of 37 yrs passed in November and I’m still in that place sometimes. It’s proof that we loved and were well loved. The goodbyes are painful but we are comforted knowing we grew a family with love. We were the lucky ones. Bobby always said that before he got sick. I’ll shout it to the mountaintops now! We were the lucky ones. YOU can be lucky too....open your heart

Hello Kathy. I'm so very sorry to hear your wonderful husband died a short while ago. My husband died 23 years ago but this song expresses how I still feel - "You took my heart with you." You sound a lady of great courage and your husband's love has given you the strength to move forward, although in a direction you wish you didn't have to take. My very best wishes go with you.

I saw the Broadway production of GHOST and cried. I still have tears in my eyes every time I hear the song. My parter of 27 years died of a sudden heart attack on July 2, 2007. He was an avid runner and was out for a run on his lunch hour.

I love this one so much as although some years ago, I lost my husband he was 53 but shouldn't have died, and then I lost my son to cancer he was 36 and this song says it all for me. Life seems so unfair at times sadly no-one can change it but music helps me especially Collabro

They're all brilliant! But I just have to say that Jamie took a very nice control of the harmony during the peak of the song. Matt did a great job opening and ending the song and Richard wonderfully made it flow and transition the emotions. The two other boys did well on backing up and maintaining a great melody, too! Collabro is the best for me and I know that they're for the hearts of many. Continue sharing your awesome talent to the world boys!

Thank you for posting this. I'm not usually a fan of people who record things at concert as I think it's more important for you to capture the moment yourself in your mind, but there are rare occasions I want to see the boys singing something like this. I've never once listened to this song and not cried. Although it was a split rather than a death, this song still captures exactly the emotions I feel and when I searched for it, yours seems to be the nicest version - so again, thank you!!
@frankcarrio4 жыл бұрын
DrSkyrme I may be wrong but.....this song is from the Play “Ghost.” So I believe it is about a death and not “a split“. And I am like you… I cannot hear it without having tears in my eyes. I recently lost my wife of 37 years and like the song states… “I think of you every day”.🌹

+susie b I agree. Tom has a beautiful voice but he doesn't get enough solos
@user-gn3uj1ul8y8 жыл бұрын
+momforpeace that's because he is a tenor... He can sing the highest but he mostly does the high harmonies or high notes. which is important so in that sense..

This version of 'With you' is even more poignant now, as my beloved husband died on the 6th of July this year, after battling so hard against Pancreatic Cancer... The 'silent killer', because when you get diagnosed it's normally at stage 3 or 4 ... Listening to this, with the emotion Collabro put into their performances, has tears running down my face, especially when they get to the 'I'm not ready' part.. :( *broken-hearted and feeling lost* :(

Thank you Linda.. I am just taking this at a day at a time, if I look too far ahead it's too much to bare.. The family are all being brilliant, and we cry and laugh about things he said or did.. But I miss him so so much.. 36 years together and now I have to try and find a 'new normal'.. I am so grateful I have wonderful children (and their partners) and Grand babies to occupy my days.. But I miss him in the evening, when I get back in, from walking the dogs.. The house is so empty now... So many things are missing, his laughter, his whinging and even the snores.. This song is both balm and sorrow at the same time.. Thank you again for posting this wonderful version of 'With You'.. Sally ... xXx

I saw their audition for Britain's Got Talent - they sang a song from Les Miserables. It was just plain awesome. Collabro - raw and as they presented themselves. Now the music industry has gotten its claws in them and, meh. So sad. These guys have amazing talent. They need to break free from the mainstream labels. Go back to what they had that endeared them to the fans of BGT. Come on guys - I won't buy this stuff - but I will buy what you were selling in the first BGT audition.

Ohhhhhhh, my poor Richard, my heart hurts for him.....but being the professional he is, he stuck it out. Really look at the way the boys are treating him....1. He doesn't look happy and 2. On stage they all are separated from him. I was mad at him for leaving the band til I listened to his interview on why he left I believe he did what he had to do to be happy. I don't blame the boys they are young. Hopefully when they mature they will have a reunion.

The singers were fantastic. Unfortunately, the recording is rubbish due to the fact that the music is so loud that it almost completely drowns out the best efforts of the singers. This is a classic example as to why theatrical performances are so rarely recorded, as the acoustics of the theatre are not conducive to recordings of any acceptable level of quality
@sharonrush16384 жыл бұрын
This band is just not the same without RICHARD! He added so much more to this song and I could have just listened to him sing all of it! It’s a shame he felt it best to leave the band, when it should have been the others.
