Having the guys far away yet close in heart was a true beacon of hope for sweet Michael. God bless them All. Guys, this performance of Bring Him Home was the most expressive I have heard from you. My son was in Afganistan right at the Pakistani border where Pat Tillman was killed. It is difficult knowing that the Taliban and/or Haqqani network were actively trying to kill my son. My only son. Trying to kill him not once a day, but lobbing up to 30 mortars a day toward the base. Firefights behind clay "fences" when the enemy was close enough to visualize were fierce. My son was pinned down multiple times. I know of at least 5 times he escaped death, once by maybe 3 inches. He refuses to tell me more, and certainly not the reason why he was awarded the Bronze Medal of Honor. So guys, when you sing this song as through the character's prayer, it's real to many of us. Please remember my story and those who hugged their soldiers for the last time just before leaving for the ugliness of war.

You guys are so great. You are so talented and you all seem so nice. I've watched videos of you on other channels. Every single one of you is so talented. Whether you sing solo or together it is always a pleasure to listen to you.

Watching this and Michael tell the story of his trauma in Hurricane Irma again is heartbreaking, I could never imagine, whilst on HOLIDAY with a FRIEND, getting caught in one as you were having the time and holiday of your life when it suddenly gets turned upside down. I have family in Florida, where the Hurricane hit and, my first thought when I heard about it was, 'omg, is my family okay? Are they still alive?' Which, thank the Heavens above they were and still are. It was then that was when I found out via online news articles that, Michael was caught in the middle of it in Saint-Martin, now, not only was I worried about my family but I was also worried about my favourite member of my favourite (and only) musical theatre boy band and, the fear that I was feeling was like no other. The fact that 3 years on, (2 years the time this was uploaded) that Michael was still feeling the trauma and having such an emotional reaction trying to explain is the most heartbreaking thing I had ever seen. It made me even sadder because this was the first time that I had seen Michael get so emotional and cry. Now, onto Lighthouse, watching you guys sing it after some tears from Michael and some giggling from Matt and Jamie, Tom and Michael occasionally before all the emotions happened, I felt as if my heart was physically in pain, I could feel it physically breaking. Lighthouse makes me feel like, exactly what Michael (with the help of Matt) said "wherever these guys are, wherever I am, is home", that could never have spoken to me more now then it did the first time I heard it as it's true. Collabro is my safe haven, as, during the time they were on Britain's Got Talent (in which, from Australia, I watched them) from April to June, those would be known as the beginning of the last few months with my Dad. As, 4 months later in October on the 26th, my Dad died from Atherosclerosis and, as you can imagine, it was awful and scary because, one, it happened in my own house, in him and my Mum's bathroom and, 2, I saw it happen, watch paramedics and my mum perform CPR and I was only 11. Yeah, having to learn at 11 that you're Dad died is the worst news ever. My point is that, wherever my Dad is and wherever I am, is home and, that's how I feel about Collabro and my Collaborators family. Lastly, thank you so, so much Michael for having the strength and courage to talk about it, even though it's been 3 years and you are still emotional about it is okay as, you went through a terrifying and heartbreaking thing and, with the thought of you possibly dying on an island away from your bandmates, your brothers, it's awful and, the trauma that comes with it won't ever go away so, it's understandable that you would still get upset and cry about it and that is valid Michael! Your emotions and you crying was 100% valid because of the trauma you went through. I love you guys so much and, please, keep Michael safe, we cannot let him or any of you three (Matt, Tom and Jamie) go through what Michael went through. Love you guys so much, please come to Australia soon xx

Also, Bring Him Home, this was the most expressive performance I had ever seen of it, ever, not even when they were a five I had seen a more expressive performance than this one! And I think it was because of all the emotions from Lighthouse and Michael's beautiful and moving words that initiated the emotional performances but, this was the most emotional performance I had seen of both Lighthouse and Bring Him Home. Both songs are both emotional in different ways, Lighthouse obviously being because of how it happened with Michael's awful, heartbreaking situation and what the proceeds went to and Bring Him Home because that was their semi-final song when Richard was with them on BGT. However, in all honesty, you boys as a four (Michael, Jamie, Tom and Matt) sounded just as better as it did when it was a five and, that is just my opinion and, if people do not agree, that is completely fine, I'm not asking people to agree with that opinion of mine, I just ask people to be civil when they respond as, in my opinion, with them as a four, we all get to hear all four equally and, since Richard left, I've seen Tom come out and bloom as a beautifully blossomed flower (I say this because, I felt like with Richard in the group that he overshadowed everyone, especially Michael and Tom so, we never really got to hear them to their full potential until now after Richard left) and, it's gorgeous to see him share his voice and letting the world hear it as, whilst on BGT and with Richard (once again, no shade to Richard), I wasn't given the opportunity to listen to Tom's beautiful voice but, now we can and, it's amazing. Once again, thank you for sharing this beautiful and emotional video as, it just shows that, wherever anyone you love is or wherever you are, it's still always going to be home, no matter how far or close you guys may be from each other.
