This is my favorite superman figure and he is my favorite hero and can beat anyone and anything that he faces.

he also looks amzing when you take it outside in the sunlight ,because everything just lights up and looks really colourful.

Actually, the pegs can be removed from the hand easily if you use a pair of pliers and just pull the pegs out. The extra pegs are there just in case the pegs they have included on the figure breaks which do happen on rare occasions. Although I've not had any broken pegs on any of my Hot Toys figures so far. But its always good to have the spare pegs.

Hey Spot! I’ve been watching ever since 2009, and I watched this review when you first uploaded it 5 years ago. I remember being excited because I knew Superman was your favourite superhero, especially Christopher Reeve’s portrayal. I remember being happy because you finally got into Hot Toys, and I was waiting for my favourite reviewer to start reviewing them. I’m thrilled to say I got my first Hot Toys yesterday, and it was the Christopher Reeve Superman! I remember watching the film when I was 8 (13 years ago) and immediately wanting an action figure of the man of steel. I share the same view as you Spot, there have been many actors playing the role of superman, but Christopher Reeve will always be Superman to me. Great to watch the review again, thanks for everything Spot!

As some say, the pegs are supposed to stay on the arm and pop off the hands, but since they're such a tight fit they come with extras in case one breaks.

this is my personal favourite human style hot toys figure , I love my HT predators as well but superman is perfect and there were no mods required

Congratulations spot, your first hot toys! I've been wanting to see you review this for the longest time. Also those hand pegs do come out, you just have to apply a lot of force, don't worry about breaking them, from my experience they're really strong.

Grats man, Hot Toys are great. Glad you are getting into collecting them. The Black stand is meant to go between the legs not clamp his back though.

You have to heat up the base with a hairdryer to make the base soft. When it cools it will then hold the crystals in. That's what I did with mine.

Welcome to the world of Hot Toys, Spot. :) I've been a big fan of them for years and they just keep getting better and better. Aside from the rising prices of the figures, I've never been disappointed in them. In fact, I literally received the Hot Toys Storm Shadow today and he's awesome! Keep up the great reviews, man! ^_^

And spot superman does come with Kryptonite but the only way to get it is to get it through the sideshow collectibles version or get the lex luthor who also comes with is.

Actually they might have used fold able fingers(like spider man),as these pegs get loose after some use or may get lost...other than this i have no negatives to say about this awesome figure!!!! U are lucky to own it..
