Fun fact: My birthday is on a leap day, and from all the examples I've personally experienced, pokémon games properly handle that date on non-leap years. There's even custom, very exclusive dialogue saying "we know today isn't really your birthday, but we still wanted to celebrate!", stuff like that. Stellar video! I have fond memeories of triggering the birthday event in my copy of Alpha Sapphire every year since it came out withiut fail! This ribbon quest is truly the ultimate undertaking in ribbons! It's a shame just how many ribbons introduced in gen 3 went completely unused, and even became overwritten to be other ribbons entirely.
