@@MiamiMiles I have one myself in the same spec - I love it and will keep it forever! They respond really well to corner weighting and a good geo setup ( I’m also running a lightweight battery and akrapovic side muffler delete with standard centre muffler - I’d recommend both)

I'm sure this isn't a unique opinion, but the mezger sounds so much better than the newer gt3 engines to me. It's a much more dynamic and smooth sound.

Wow bro... Congrats on this piece! A friend of mine has one with the same spec here in Argentina and it looks amazing. But yours, clearly has an exhaust mod and sounds 100 times better. Doesn´t get a better Porsche driving experience than this... (Let´s ignore the fact that the CGT exists hahahaha). I´m very happy for you. Wish you hard and long accelerations here from Buenos Aires! Sounds magic. Wish I had appreciated mine when I had it, but I sold it so long ago. In some way my new GT4RS is a soulmate, but doesn't have this soundtrack from the outside, but the GT4RS has manic acceleration and more character.

Comment on point. It’s not as fast as the 4RS but I feel that it has a little more character. That being said I drove both on the track the other and the 4RS is 🤯

@@MiamiMiles You are a lucky man having both machines together at the same time. Great to hear your opinions about two epic cars from 12 years apart. I remember my GT3RS would rattle and shake sitting at the traffic lights and I loved that. The GT4RS just turns itself off altogether at the lights.

@@alenaalena13 Yes. I'm going to make a comparison on the road in a couple of weeks. That is the first think you notice is how raw the car is. Just sitting in traffic is intoxicating haha.

Yes. It sounds so similar. Interesting note, it's a lot louder than a 991 with the same exhaust setup at lower RPM's. Don't know why, but it sounds so good.

Congrats!! Amazing car and a great spec! Mine is identical to yours minus the PCCBs and upgraded headlights. Mine has black roll cage. I have a bunch of cars but this is definitely in my top 3. Enjoy!!

Keep it in the condition as it is, better said install the original exhaust system, the original sound is still the best, don't increase engine capacity or any shark werks stuff, you will destroy this historical piece and not be happy with the upgrades, believe me! By the way the clutch is perfect as it is, at least for us Germans ;-).

Mine is factory white and gold. SW bypass. I would not do a 4.1 SW. These cars are rare and special and should be left as they left the factory.
