Gregg hit the nail on the head when he said the dolls bring joy. I put my dolls away many years ago when life was too difficult and time was short, but now, thanks to the pandemic I'm rediscovering them and they are indeed bringing joy into my life on a daily basis. Wonderful collection and excellent interview!

I am 72 years old and I still have mine Santa brought me in the 1950s, she does need some repair, but I just can't let go of her ( Tammy. ) Wonderful collection you have. I have a picture of my baby sister with her, and was able to switch out the clothes.

Out of all the dolls I have or have ever wanted, this doll is my all time favorite. Bar none, hands down! I have always, ALWAYS wanted an original Patty PlayPal doll. I don't have any, I guess you could say it would be a "grail" doll for me. But ... I do have all of the Ashton-Drake re-productions of Patty PlayPal. These will do just nicely. But should I ever come across some originals ... I wouldn't know how to act! I mean that would be ...

This is The BEST DOLL COLLECTION!!! Thank you!! I STILL "have, hold, and live with" My "IDEAL Patti PlayPal" 'Walking Doll' from 1963; purchased at "Grants" Department Store!! WOW! LOVE Gregg's Patty Play Pal collection! I have a copy cat one that I cried for my Mommy to buy me when I was 15 years old. I never begged her for anything before or after. So happy to see all of his. It does seem like toys are alive. Again thank you so much for sharing.

Wow I wish mom would have saved my original patty brown curly hair1959 We did find one recently pretty good condition except she has no neck! I would love to get that fixed, but your collection is mind boggling Thanks for sharing

Love Patty Play Pal.or even a knock.off! So much fun to dress..My knock.off has short platinum hair.I didn't play with her much.My dog tore her red and white chiffon dress and my neices tried btushing her hair. She has beautiful blue eyes. Glad I hung on to her. Enjoy having her.

I had one as a little girl, my Mother found her dumped behind our church. She took out my older sister’s dresses and had them tailored for her. Her name was Wendy and she was beautiful, I wish I still had her.

Was there a Patti Play Pal that played tiny records on her back and walked. My grand mother gave me a doll like this around 1978 or 79 I was 5 or 6. Trying to find one, but none look like her only the Patti Play Pal.🤷‍♀️

Well In December 1962.patti Okay Pal Came To Latin America And Mexico.The Dolls Are So Beautifulll.And They Were Expensive My Mother Wanted One My Sister Wanted Barbie.Welk The Doll.Was Lovely.Brown Curly Hair.My Mother Took Care Of Her Dolly.She Was .soo.Happy. Beautifulll .Memories

I discover this video trying to learn about my mom's childhood doll. Time passes and we cant identify her. She is and Ideal and she is like 70 cm,with talking mechanism. Since we live in Argentina,she was sold here, and my mom was born in 1965 so the doll its probable from 70's. I asked for her to a lot of collectors around the world but nobody knows who she is! So sad :( But this collection is awesome! I think Im in love with Play Pal family now!
