I remember listening to this song in the 90s, after a divorce to an abusive husbsnd. The night I left, he was clicking his pistol as I stood terrified on the other side of a door, locked in our bathroom. Leaving him that night, finally, crying. I had no where to go at 2am. So I just drove around until 5am and when doing so, I felt lost but free, scared but elated, uncertain yet determined and clear minded all in the same sense. But nevertheless, I, IT, my next life beginning, it felt good. And I never looked back. So yah, this song. It hits me good. Give a word, give me a sign. Heaven let your light shine. This song played as I got too the hospital when I found out my dad at a heart attack duing an m.r.i and they didn't notice he was brain dead by the time they got to him. I knew this song was a sign that he was okay not the way I was thinking but he doesn't have pain and the best part is there playing on his one year memorial June 15th keep sending signs dad I miss and love you.
