Wow! I'm constantly reminded of the challenges young boys and men have gone through just because they like dolls. Things have changed. Not perfect but folks are no longer alone and there are lots of role models (as we see here). Things are far from perfect but we are coming along just fine.

Such a fun - and, at times, poignant - interview, Rachel! Dennis is as fascinating as he is phenomenally talented. He also seems to have a heart that’s as big as his amazing creativity. I can totally and utterly relate to basically everything that he revealed about his personal story … especially the childhood doll thefts motivated by desperation. (Same here, and also not proud of it.) But he obviously endured, overcame and found deserved professional success, as well as personal liberation. That’s truly an inspiration for allll of those other marginalized, potentially desperate little boys who just want the freedom to be their doll-loving selves. Thanks SO much to both of you for sharing this relatable and super-timely story!

Rachel and Denis, I really LOVED the rainbow wig that is in the style of Farrah Fawcett 's wavy style hair💯💯💯💯💯!!! And no offense to Denis, but as a Child I had a Cher Doll, but I did not like her and I got rid of her. If I had known Denis when he was a Child, I would have gladly gave him my Cher Doll🤗🤗!! And I so wish that Denis lived closer to me because I have a Uneeda Doll that my now Late Grandfather bought for me, but she has a hole in her head and my Uneeda Doll that I so love could use a wig. I can not part with my Doll, even though my Mom said because she has a hole in her head, I should get rid of her, but I just can not!!!! I moved to my new Apartment Aug 7th, 2023 and I brought my Uneeda Doll with me, even though she has a hole in her head !! And Denis although stealing is wrong and I do not judge you, I am glad that you did not get caught😌😌!!!! Rachel and Denis thank you for showing us Denis's beautiful wig for Ellowyne Wilde💖💜💙💚💛🧡❤!!!!!!

Very interesting video. Wonderful wig! No kids should be told what they can and cannot have according to gender. My brothers received things I didn't get because I was a girl. I wanted GIJoe, I wanted this military man you could toss up in the air with a parachute attached that was very popular when I was a kid and my brother got, styrofoam planes that you could snap together and fly. My dad told me I couldn't throw a ball because I was a girl and of course psychology I all of a sudden couldn't throw it straight. I am glad that as I got older, sports included girls. My brother didn't know how to throw and catch and I started showing him at 2 because I knew my dad was ignoring him and I thought that if my brother could play my dad would like it and our dad did. My dad couched soccer for my younger brother and was mad when they let girls on his soccer team. My mom was her own person, she thought girls could do anything and boys could have dolls and kids whatever toys they wanted. People get way too serious about what kids do instead of just letting kids play and interact with other kids. A lot of kids now have their eyes glued to their phones, which isn't much benefit to them for interaction with other kids and people.
