This is a guide to collecting vintage Remco Pirates of the Galaxseas action figures. Including Patch, Cutlass, Tattoo, Peg Leg, Ribs, & Crossbones.

The Pirates of the Galaxseas is my FAVORITE Remco figure line. It's a pretty easy line to collect because there are only 6 figures.

@@keithallen151 I had Patch & Tattoo. I used them along with Machiste & Deimos I'm my awa wrestling ring with that Remco line lol

That's awesome I used all my Masters of the Universe & Remco figures as wrestlers. I imagined it as an Intergalactic Wrestling Association. I had Pegleg & Cutlass. Cutlass was 2nd hand and had no accessories. Pegleg was the only one I got new & I remember I thought the Pirates coin was really cool. Unfortunately I only still have my child hood Cutlass. I'm not sure what happened to Pegleg.

I used to have the skeletons Ribs and Crossbones they were in great shape and had all their accessories, unfortunately they were thrown out along with my MOTU figures right after I left home. My father thought I didn't want them anymore and threw them out. Oh I was so pissed!

@learning2bcivil That's a bummer I would be really pissed. Those are the two most expensive figures in the line. Plus finding them complete is even more difficult.

Thanks! There's just not a lot of information out there on this, The Lost World of the Warlord, & Warrior Beasts lines. Remco's greatest IMO. Hopefully one day I'll do one on the Warrior Beasts, but I'm missing Skullman V2 & Ramar.

@@erikthepirate8068 I never understood why pegleg was a cyclops. Was being a cyclops not enough of a character trait. So they had to also give him a pegleg. Lol

That would have been awesome. Even if it was made of cardboard, but if they had made one out of cardboard it would be ridiculously rare & expensive now.

Either the people who worked MOTU origins and classic line or some third party toy company. Really should release new molds for these bootleg and knock off toy lines.
