I like how prospects are more region based. I'm from Arizona and the one thing that annoyed me about NCAA 14, and why I was glad I was able to edit recruits, is that in real life the overwhelming majority of recruits in AZ comes from Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Tucson, Glendale areas, probably about 95% of them. In the game, most of the 3 or 4 star recruits almost every year come from rural cities such as Prescott, I think Globe, these really small rural communities that rarely produce more than 2 or 3 guys a year total that get recruited by Division I schools. I'm sure it's like that in other states and I'm not hating on rural communities, just in terms of recruiting for the game, it was just wildly inaccurate.

yeah thats another concern for me. I want recruiting to be a challenge, i feel like in the old NCAA games it was too easy to recruit a big name player to a small school

Should be impossible for a 5 but a 4 should be everything aligning perfectly and dumping almost half of the resources into that 1 guy. 5 should be literally impossible

Exactly, should take an absolute perfect situation to even be possible and it should be something the player can’t make happen. Some randomly generated player happens to have the exact want from a school yours does, and the recruit wants to be near home and is from the same town as your school.

Honestly if you can switch to easy just to get your prospects I might, I know it’s wrong but I need them 4/5 stars for either LSU or Oregon maybe I’ll dabble in other teams as well

If you're playign as LSU and Oregon and you cant get 4-5 stars... idk what to tell you. For teams like that it will already be easy because recruits will be interested in you already, you just have to go with the flow. @@VersusFox

I like that recruits will transfer out if they had a playing time deal breaker and you recruit players in that would start ahead of them. In the last game, by the time Id built the program up, I'd have 99 overall qbs sitting behind 99 overall qbs from the same class...never seeing the field. They should transfer. And maybe play against me. So much better.

Great video. I'm really interested in how the game handles RedShirt, 5th yr seniors, NIL with state income tax, etc... It's going to be challenge to balance wear-n-tear with play time and developing depth. Then having to account for positional depth and long-term planning.

i’m so excited for this game, my only question left is for RTG. i wonder how we pick our team. i would hate for it to be where we just pick whatever team we wants to play for based on what star level we chose since there is no HS and being recruited

In RTG you pick your star level, your archetype and your top 3 cares. Teams will offer you based on that 👍🏽. So not as immersive, but also not too cut and dry.

It's not static its just based on real life, a lot of good players come from certain areas and thats reflected in the game. It wont be that it's only in those areas you get certain archetypes, but their will be a greater number of them and a better time recruiting them if you have a pipeline there.

Yes it kinda resembles real life where Recruits set there own commitment date and have there own separate timeline on when they want to commit to a school

To be honest how many five star recruits go one to be great in the NFL which is slim. Most of the greats were three stars or two stars recruits in high school.

There's an "auto-recruiting" feature that'll help assist people, but it's really not that hard once you spend some time with it. I'll have a video that'll break things down a bit more for you though

I played every year the game was in existence prior to the hiatus and you get into a flow with recruiting but I guess overwhelmed comes to mind seeing and hearing all this info at once. Looking forward to this game more than any in a very long time and running with my USC Trojans. I doubt I will auto recruit because recruiting used to be fun and hoping it isn’t too much in the upcoming release.

IF THEY HAVE ROSTER EDIT THEN JUST FIND THE SCHOOL YOU WANT FIND ALL THE FRESHMAN AND MAKE THE 99 OVERALL. THEN SPEND THE NEXT 3 YEARS RECRUITING 3 STARS UNTIL YOU GET 2 NATTYS UNDER YOUR BELT AND BREAK EVERY GAME SEASON AND CAREER RECORD AT QB RB WR LOL.

i’m not sure about that but i do know if you get in a recruiting battle at the end with one other team and you don’t get the player, and he later on wants to transfer, that player will remember the fact that you wanted him and that he almost went to your school

Yes prospects can decommit from your school if you break one of their deal breakers after they have verbally committed while they're waiting for signing day if you break their deal-breaker they can and will decommit the higher the star player the more likely he is to decommit

Yes, they are bringing back "Teambuilder" like in NCAA 14. Right now we don't know everything about the new teambuilder though.

They did BAMA dirty on academic prestige. Which according to recent rankings, they are right near the middle at 76. If the game is accurate. Lotta school gonna have bad academic ratings.

It's almost guaranteed you won't be able to create your own recruiting class, the old "create a prospect" isn't even in the game.. Create a player *might* be in though...but I bet you won't be able to create a player DURING the dynasty. Hope I'm wrong though...

Except that they’ve already said that you can’t. They’ve paid players to be in this game, meaning they run into a dilemma when people start creating, say, Arch Manning.

@@ChessMarine310 So even tho after 10 years in your dynasty, the whole landscape of college will be filled with random made up players anyways… You really think they are gonna prevent us from editing those classes because of likeness for players that don’t even exist? Lmao I doubt that’s the route they took. Now editing current players who signed the NIL would make sense. But not being able to edit a per generated player because of NIL likeness is literally backwards. Like why would they have added all this new equipment and styles for players if we aren’t going to be able to make our player using them or edit current players using them? Would be a dumb feature to have ski mask and rolled up shoulder pads when no one can even utilize them. 😂

@@InvictusDelat129 So if they are worried about people creating players using names of players who didn’t opt in… wouldn’t they just ban certain keywords or phrases. Not ban the whole feature? Especially when they just added a bunch of create a player equipment options. For example, hoodie under the shoulder pads, rolled up jerseys, backplates showing, ski mask, etc. why in the hell would they add all of this just for no one to be able to customize ANY player in the game, let alone auto generated players from recruiting classes each year. None of those per generated players will have NIL likeness because they are all made up. So saying no you can’t create a player or edit those classes because of that reason is backwards. Now I can see them not allowing you to edit names of certain players that signed for the NIL.

I would be HAPPILY surprised if we can edit ratings on generated players....I KNOW we can't edit ratings for NIL players. I do seem to recall that I read somewhere where you will be able to edit EQUIPMENT on NIL players though.

Recruiting seems so overwhelming at first especially if you didn’t play old ncaa’s but trust me you will get better at it the more you do it ! I encourage you to leave it on manual and learn to do it better ! Because that’s what makes dynasty so much fun!

They should’ve kept the OG progression system instead of the upgrade system. Sounds like Now it’s gonna be similar to Madden franchise.

No we’re near madden! Madden is one player and you can’t upgrade the group . Making your group for example WRU OR DBU, youll kinda be that university that sends out a specific group of players to the league or specialize in
