I love how the defensive backs can't all the sudden cover 10 yards in a matter of a second an intercept or Swat passes down

Just hearing the devs talk about this game tells me the right people made this game. Super excited

hope people will also remember that skill levels between players and teams will be lot more varied than in the NFL. SO blow outs can happen lot more often.

Something else I noticed is the refs. FINALLY this game gave us different refs. In Madden we have plenty of refs in terms of looks and body types but it’s been the same voice for god knows how long. When the ref called the DPI at like 6:00 it had a completely different voice which sounds like there may be variety with ref voices

This is exactly what I was hoping for out of CF25! A game that can reward talented players on both ends of the ball and also hopefully in turn make some less experienced players eventually get better. Can't wait for my run game and solid defense to shine!!! Defensive Coordinator for Dynasty and HB for RtG! Wonder what everyone else will be!

Few things immediately stood out to me. Sideline passes, zone defenses, RB skill, and pass rushes are different from Madden and instantly change gameplay and strategy. Lastly the attention to details for the Penn St home crowd were unbelievable 👏🏿

I like the look to the sidline feature u can actually make them look to the sidelines

In terms of the throw meter..."Red is off-target, but still catchable." That's interesting. Lots of red passes here just resulted in minor off-target throws that were still easily caught by the receiver. I was expecting red throws to be basically bad overthrows and underthrows that would either be uncatchable or force a receiver to make a spectacular play. What they showed (along with what Bordeaux showed on his own video of this gameplay) is that red just makes a receiver have to slightly adjust.

Also something i noticed one of the old 2k devs scott o gallagher is now working for ea sports

I havent seen anyone say it yet, but Bordeaux played as a CB on defense every time and he subsequently left his man wide open doing his own thing. Edwards played as a DL player. Edwards easily threw to the open guy each time who should have been covered by the player Bordeaux controlled. That seemed to play the biggest role in the game itself. Not sure if that swayed some opinions

The thing that stuck out to me was the first play had the terror of h2h Madden. Corners not being able to keep up with that outside corner throw.

you mentioned layered passing a couple of times but what does that actually mean? is the passing meter not for bullet/touch/lob?

So is there some sort of benefit to filling up the blue without going into the yellow with the passing meter? Still not fully understanding how that meter works. Is it just a measure of throw power? It's obviously gonna fill up the longer you hold the button down which used to be more of a bullet pass with less air under it. So does filling up the blue just give you the best possible pass for the given situation based on your qb's stats and what not? Does the pressure you apply to the button no longer determine the difference between a lob pass and a bullet pass?

at 6:35 i noticed that there was a "check sideline" option. it would be awesome if you could go to the play menu, and get a new formation (basically call a new play)

So with that throw meter, do the QB's just throw harder or softer on their own now? In the past, holding the button down longer made the throw harder.

Can someone explain the passing mechanic? How am I supposed to control between throwing bullet into a tight windows, touch and lob passes. How do you do this with the meter ?

Cannot wait for this. 8 days away for me. Not the biggest fan of *Red* in the Passing Meter still being catchable, but otherwise this looks perfect.

Is there going to be uniform wear and tear? Like are the jerseys going to get dirty or torn. Helmets getting scraped and scratched? Etc

I’m waiting to get it. It’s still going to have a few bugs. If you slow down the pass play to the sideline, you’ll see the DL actually bugged out. Should’ve been a sack or disrupted the pass.

Whats so good about the passing meter? I think its better being off imo as long as u can still put the ball in a bucket , lead passes , dots , towards the out of bounds line , certain touchdowns

I’d assume the pass meter is kind of like mlb the show? A lob pass you’d have to tap it and then tap it again to release the ball? And a bullet pass you’d just hold down and the meter stops when you let go of said button? Or is that different (maybe I missed a video talking about it)

I still don't understand how the pass meter works. Do you still decide if you want a bullet pass or a lob? If it automatically decides for you, then why don't you just tap the button every time to stay in the blue?

I cant tell, but it seems like with the new passing system it doesnt have Lob, Touch and Bullet passing? Its just the same type of pass just depends on how you hit the meter. Is that what I am understanding here?

Speed differential is a huge problem...also the TE no matter the speed can get open....I hope they fix that.
