What do you mean “whatever”??? She went through the trouble to write an agreement that specifically stated they needed permission before hosting a party, that was SIGNED, and then the exact thing she was worried would happen happened and brought them to court! Why on earth would that document not be important in court??????

That "whatever" doesn't mean "I don't care about the document", it means "I don't need that document to make up my mind about this, they're guilty".

Plaintiff was responsible. Got the lease in order, added them, removed her boyfriend. Got payment receipts, and even had a visitor agreement policy in writing. Things are looking good so far, I don't see how she could lose this one unless for the bad grammar lol

@@frenchgirl75000 "responsible" in English can mean different things. Here, "responsible" meaning that she acted responsibly. Meaning she acted like a smart adult who knows what she's doing. Not that she's "responsible for" the damage that happened, like it's her _fault._

@@contessahinson That is very, very true. I was looking to rent a house back then in St Petersburg, FL. Dumps in the area were going for $1300-1500. It was what pushed me to relocate to the suburbs and buy. That was before the prices of rent and real estate went crazy in Florida. My old apartment from back then has since more than doubled.

The plaintiff isn't a dumb girl. Soon as JJ told her to stop saying "YUP" she immediately stopped even though I know it was hard, growing up normalizing that word to every day use. Like muscle memory of the tongue, but glad she didn't use it after she was reprimanded. She was also bright enough to specify the party into the agreement. I think she's the type of person who would think everything ahead and include it in writing so she could back up whatever she claims. Nice job

I just love how these girls say to Judy they 'didn't have that many people' at the party only for one of them to say 25. What the hell kind of party with 25 is 'not that many people'? 25 people at a party is a lot of people! That's a big party!

Oh it's harmless, but that's why Judge Judy is entertaining. We're all waiting for her to get after her for that... nobody is giving her a hard time or chastising the girl - she seems very polite/intelligent.

I learn a LOT ….virtually from Judge Judy….I’ve been watching her courtroom vids since 1997…on my break time…..weekends …..day offs…TILL the PRESENT……Most are REPLAYS….but I don’t care,,,..I watched most of them since….still I find each… worth watching!!I JUDGE JUDY is my IDOL!!…She is so enigmatic…..smart……wise! She has gotten old….and it shows on her face….THE YEARS she’s been handling LIFE’S challenges and colorful personalities ….with such dedication and grace is something to behold! She is JUDGE JUDY……..the one and only JUDGE I won’ forget….forever and ever..L

JJ annoyed me here. This plaintiff was so prepared, answered only what she asked, was respectful.. then she pulls her up for "me and my friend" not "my friend and I". Now, usually it wouldn't bother me, but she allows people to say it the other way all the time, she was just looking for a reason to tear the plaintiff down. She likes her guests to be all the things this plaintiff was, but even that doesn't appear good enough. She was nitpicking.
