Your feelings are valid katie! you should never have the mindset that "oh well people have it worse than me so I shouldn't feel this way or do this." College is terrifying for everyone; you've only lived with your family and now you are by yourself exploring college alone! I would be crying and would be homesick too. You're doing amazing though love!!💗💗💗💗

the part where you were talking about being anxious and the transition into college being hard - don’t ever try to justify your feelings because there are others who “have it worse” because regardless of that, you feel how you feel and no matter how big or small it is valid!!! it could be worse but it could be better too

I’m only 3 hours away from my home and family but I’m still so home sick and it’s so hard as an introvert to make friends. It does get better I promise you that hon. Thank you for being vulnerable about homesickness. this is my first year at college too and I am a 12 hour drive from home. the homesickness is REAL. you don't know how comforting it is to see someone else going through the same thing.

I just want to say your section about anxiety in college is so real. I feel you and I get the not wanting to feel like ungrateful that you're in college and having that experience but also it's all so new! I've had the most anxiety since I've been away in college and have had to learn new coping skills. You got this queen! I love watching your college videos ❤

literally relate to missing your family and feeling guilty abt it, but honesty our feelings are valid, adjusting takes time and even towards the end of the year it’ll probably still be the same of missing home, but it’s important to not let that stop you from living your life

girl, your feelings are valid! it's okay to feel overwhelmed, homesick, anxious, etc. college is hard. I'm in my junior year and the homesickness still hit. the initial change of college is terrifying but it gets better. you're doing amazing

I totally can understand the ups and downs with college. This is my first year of college and ever and this weekend I was able to hang out with my parents because they came down to see my play and I remember we were about to head to SEPTA and I just started crying. I just didn't want the weekend to end but I knew that I would be able to see them soon and that other people can't see their families until November. But yes that part is very real and ok to feel.

6:00 This vlog was very refreshing. I started my first semester at college September of 23', and I'm now finishing up my first year...what a rollercoaster of a ride I've been having! At one point I'm having fun and enjoying my new found freedom, then there are times where I feel anxious and overwhelmed from all the responsibility I have. You are not alone college peeps!

Your feelings are totally valid. The world is crazy right now but you pain is still your pain. I’m a transfer student from community college and its my first semester at a big school, and trust me when I say that it’s a literal rollercoaster of emotions, I will be having so much fun with friends one moment and then having a crying and breaking down session the next. It gets better and you will figure it out, I promise 💛

College is always a super hard transition for anyone regardless. I'm a sophomore in college and still get homesick occasionally (especially when it's getting close to a holiday break). Your feelings are totally normal! Before you know it, you'll be back home. College flies by but visiting family for the first time is always so fun.

Adjustments are hard. You'll be crying because you will miss the thing that you got used to but remember once you're done with school at that point you're very comfortable and got used to it after all those years, you'll be in another adjustment phase and will be missing the life in University.
