I just stumbled across one of your videos (college move in day | freshman dorm). It caught my eye because I graduated in '83 from then named Southwest Missouri State. I like to assume that the dropping of the 'southwest' moniker is a promotion of sorts, but who knows. I have not viewed all your videos but did learn you are from Texas. We have taken a similar path, but in somewhat opposite directions. I am a California native, but have lived in Houston, Tulsa and Tahlequah OK, Springfield, Richardson and Garland TX, and back to CA. I have not seen the Springfield campus since I graduated, and can't imagine the changes that have taken place since then. In your freshman dorm video, you stated that if any of us (your viewers) had suggestions...... Well how about a walking tour around campus? I'd like to see a guided tour down memory lane. I'm certain there are new buildings, and the functions of many old buildings may no longer be what they were for us dinosaurs. I can remember taking classes in Cheek (computer) and Siceluff (business), music I believe was in Ellis, Carrington was for Admin. Everything could be different now. Care to make an old alumnus a happy camper? Did you know that our campus has a few notable alumni? John Goodman, Kathleen Turner and Tess Harper to name just a few. I can even remember one sports reporter from the evening news (can't remember the channel) named Ned 'Yes I called the Redbirds' Reynolds.
