Can't wait to see the apartment tour! Side note: you said the wallpaper wasn't lining up when you first started it; could it be because you placed the wallpaper on horizontally instead of vertically? Just wondering because most people i've watched apply it going down the wall and not across it.

It was very different when I moved into Shanks Hall in 1962. I came on a train from Norfolk to Roanoke. All I brought was a blanket, a radio and record player. The school supplied everything else including uniforms.

4:15 If you are going for donuts, typically everyone goes for Carol Lee, which is right down the road from all the apartments near VT. The algorithm seems to have recommended a fellow Hokie's video to me. Lets all struggle through the covid classes together! (I am a Senior Electrical Engineering Student at VT FWIW)

Just be prepared... fall numbers things can easily go online again. 10 years ago I moved off campus to the village. Class of 2012. I’m sure there’s much better places to rent out now from what it looks like.

Um yeah. I think you put up the wallpaper sideways. From some one who’s done peel and stick wallpaper A LOT, the paper should go up in long strips lengthwise (vertical) not horizontal across the width of the wall. You start in the far left corner and worth your way across from ceiling to floor in long strips. If it’s a decent brand paper, the print repeat should line up easier. I’ve always used NUwallpaper (on Amazon) it’s amazing quality. I’ve got some that I’ve hung in my house that’s been up for three years without coming down.
