Kicking off my third year at Northeastern University! I moved into a brand new building (LightView) and I'm living with my best friends. I'm so excited to see what this semester brings and I'm ready to work hard and live my best life :)

You'll be shock once you see our dorm😂 we shared bedroom either with 1 roommate or 3 rommates, no kitchen, cant cook in the dorm even if its "apartment style"😂 anyway, goodluck with your study!😊

I chose 4 Bed - 2 Bath A Private Bedroom! I feel like the layout of my unit is slightly different than the way it's shown on the website for floor plans though since our entrance is between the bathrooms areas, not right into the living space/ kitchen

hm a lot of people have mixed reviews, but I honestly can't complain! It's so upscale and fancy compared to any other dorm/ apartment on campus, and it has a gym, laundry room, and nice lounge area. and I always see people cleaning which is reassuring

I'm from Germany 25 and done with university idek why I'm watching those videos but like.. I like this place much better than Harvard from what I saw in regards of the sleeping places etc. (and yeaaaa I know Harvard is great)

I'm not sure what the availability is like rn, but there are apartments with 1 double, and then apartments that accommodate 4 people (with a ton of configurations for this) for example I live in an apartment with 4 singles! however, only juniors and seniors can live in this specific building! hope this helps :) and good luck!!!

I was wondering how you stopped on the street and were able to move all your stuff in the middle of the city... does everyone have movers?

Thankfully, my building was able to block off that street for the day that everyone was moving in and they provided us with those bins and movers! A lot of NEU resident buildings do something like this, where you pull up your car and people help you unload it and then you can take the bin up to your room

How does the housing work per grade? I am a high school senior and am waiting for my ED II decision, so just curious. Are you living in an off-campus appt?

This is technically an off-campus apartment, but it's owned by NEU so only NEU students can live here! For freshman, housing is assigned based on what "community" you want to join and you select this in a survey you receive after being accepted into the school. For all other years, it's a lottery system where everyone is assigned a housing number and a corresponding time slot to pick their housing so not everyone picks at a single time, but once you become a third year, you're allowed to move off campus! Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions, and good luck!! ☺️

Victoria NEU breaks housing into different subcategories like economy, standard, deluxe and then doubles and singles and the information for the pricing of those should be on the website for housing but I found that LightView’s singles are cheaper than the deluxe singles that NEU offers so I chose to live in lightview
