Saw that you were talking about taking graphic design classes so I thought I'd give you a tip lol. I'm about to graduate from MSU with Graphic Design degree. After years in the program, although it is a great program, I would definitely look into the creative advertising major with a graphic design minor. Advertising is in the Comm Arts department here which seems to offer more classes that aren't just graphic design related. Where as, the graphic design program is through the department of art, art history, and design where it's just graphic design courses and studio art classes. You don't get many opportunities to take writing classes, coding classes, marketing classes, etc. which would all be helpful even in a graphic design job (realizing this now as I apply for full-time jobs). Ok, sorry this was so long but I thought I 'd let you know to explore both options bc I didn't know much about either when I chose ym major here.

I did my entire first year and changed my major... it wasn't until I graduated that I realised I had a double major and was close to a double minor! I've done my bachelor's in English Literature and Religious Studies. (Basically communications and religion!)
