College Singles Strategy Analysis (Tennis Tactics and Technique)
1. Aim most 1st serve returns back down the middle
2. If the ball comes slightly to your backhand make it a forehand
3. Hit to the same corner twice to “wrong foot” your opponent
4. When you get your opponent in trouble attack the net and volley shirt unit the court

BH down the middle by Geller was acceptable as BH’s are usually ur weaker shot, but the FH down the middle should have at more of an angle. If not u’re just letting ur opponent dictate play

I don't mind Geller hitting that forehand down the middle. He was about 5ft behind the baseline and had decent depth on the ball. I think he was off on this point from the beginning (he was not paying attention when the point started).
