The "MC" is Philip Lawrence. He was Bruno's best bud and creative partner since the very beginning. Philip had to stop working with Bruno in 2018 and address his infidelity and alcohol addiction. This isn't heresay, because I saw him interviewed and he was very honest. We definitely miss his energy and I'm sure Bruno misses him terribly!

It was a free concert. He said previously that he had wanted to perform at the Apollo since he was a kid. He was hyped. This was made into a TV special in 2017 I think. It was one of the nominees for an Emmy that year. There’s a whole back story on that video. He and band members went all around Harlem handing out tickets where at one stop he saw Mary and another woman sitting on a stoop. He sat down with the put his arms around both of their shoulders. He then invited Mary to the concert and she blushed, smiled and said she had a new red dress. It was a real gift to be able to perform free for that audience cuz his concert tickets were very high otherwise. It made me feel so good just to know that he did that.

Him and Andy were amazing in Vegas, and Bruno definitely added more dance elements, especially in Skate.😅

Yes…Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak are truly gifted and the best of the best. They are real musicians first and a triple threat in entertainment, they can sing, dance, and play instruments. I like other artist too, but between these two and their bands, Bruno & The Hooligans, A .Paak & The Free National, also together as Silk Sonic, there is so much content (old and new) to view. I have a lot of their material in my library and it all makes me smile. Bromo's brother on the drum solo. This concert was free, he was on tour when they asked him to do this. They had a two-week window when they got this together then right back to touring.
