Two years ago Nathan built an amazing Big Daddy costume for Bioshock 1. Bioshock 2 came out last week, and guess what he's been working on.. See our videos a month earlier at www.collegehumor.com

I like to imagine the character designers going 'How can we make this look functional in-game and completely plausible, but also IMPOSSIBLE to cosplay at the same time?' then being in utter shock that people actually do it.

Technically she didn’t because every big sisters suit is different in some way but to serve the same purpose Eleanor isn’t a big sister she only has the costume from the little sister that you control so she doesn’t have the needle etc

I've made the helmet for an up-coming expo out of paper mache, rope, hose pip parts and spray paint and jesus do I feel like shit after watching this XD

If a movie were to be made. It would have to be directed by the right person, as well as have the bioshock team come together to help with ideas.

@BobbyJenkins Yeah the aquarium here in GA is very nice so far. They have some future plans to add even more exhibits soon.

ok so uhm I want to make this costume really bad myself, so I was thinking, is there a possibility that I could get instructions or something like ideas on how to for it? Especially since the back thing and the helmet are really hard to make and I've been drawing and referencing for ages now and I still can't get it right?. Could you perhaps send me something like instructions?

@silentkiller102 I wasn't exactly talking about the suite part, I was talking about how he had a hard time getting the tank in the back on the suit probably weighs somewhere between 70 or 80 pounds with that huge tank on the back so you'd probably have to be walked through how to get all that on regardless of gender.

@TheVintageGamer Due to the circumstances of the build (it had to be done in less than two weeks, working day and night) it wasn't feasible to get a model there for constant fittings, and I was there all the time anyway so we made it to fit me for the video. We've since had a female model wear it for a photoshoot. Also: it's incredibly heavy. The female model could only wear it for a couple minutes at a time before we had to take the tank and helmet off.
