My husband is not an emotional person. He never has been. He's known as stoic and quiet. It's something I've never begrudged or been angry with, as it's just who he is. He's the love of my life and I know he loves me too, in his own quiet and peaceful way. So, imagine my surprise when he began weeping softly when reading his vows during our wedding. Our photographer captured the moment. And every time I see it I think "That stoic man cried because he was so happy to marry me. I know how much he loves me."

I’m crying. Imagine marrying a man who’s so in love with you he can’t control his emotion seeing you on your wedding dress. I hope we all find someone who will truly love us.

When my parents got married my dad didn’t cry. Instead he nearly passed out seeing my mom walk down the ails with her dad. His Best Man has to hold him up the whole time. 2022 is their 40th wedding anniversary.

This made me break down completely. My young Wife passed away in March 2020. She was an absolutely Beautiful Bride and I never could have imagined that I would lose her so young. I cried just as much as these Men, at my Wedding. I look at these Men and I wonder if they realize how lucky they are? I wonder if they realize how short life is - and I pray thay that will always be Happy and do everything in their Power to Love and Protect these Beautiful Brides. Our Lives are but a Whisp in the Wind.

So my husband actually gave me some insight into why some guys get emotional at that moment. I had to ask Lol. He said the it was a few things. He said "of course because you looked so beautiful" but also said "there's something about seeing you and your father, and the feeling that your father his putting his trust in ME to take care of this precious human being" His words! He just made me cry AGAIN! 😭😭

I cried like a baby at mine and I don't regret it at all. I feel like the groom is often more emotional on the day because, let's be honest, most of the actual wedding day is a surprise to the groom. When I got married, I almost cried when I saw the guests stood up when I was entering the church. One of the guests gave me a tissue. I, then heard one of the ladies say: "Bernard needs a tissue too!" I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked up and saw my husband crying! I got so emotional I ended up looking down all the way to the altar. Everytime I tried to look up, I kept seeing him cry and then I felt like crying too. Seeing him cry was so emotional. I can't even explain it.

My wife and I agreed that we would not see each other prior to the Nuptial Ceremony on our wedding day. I kept my eyes downcast until the vows, then met her gaze for the first time that day as I made my vows. That moment in time is forever burned into the recesses of my mind!!! She really was a queen that day.. still is😁😎

My favorite part about a wedding is the moment the bride turns the corner and comes into the groom's line of vision. I turn to look at the front of the room and I look at his expression. I personally believe this expression says a lot about the bride and groom's relationship, past and future. If the groom has a blank expression, it tells me that the relationship is reasonably new and they haven't been through the various stages of love that other couples may have been through at this point in time. This relationship usually doesn't last very long and doesn't grow into a very pleasant situation for the two involved. If the groom is smiling, this tells me that the two have much love for one another but haven't yet been through the heartbreaks and struggles needed in order to make this relationship work long term. The couple may break at the first sign of a disagreement or challenge because they never experienced it until this point (and I don't buy the "some men don't cry" crap). However, if the man is crying, this says more than needed about the relationship. These two have fought to keep one another in their arms and know just how lucky they are to have the other's love as they have been through challenges most couples would find impossible to push through. These two's special feelings towards one another go far beyond love and will carry on until the end, despite the many challenges that await them. However, I'm not saying this is necessarily true, it's just my experiences from previous circumstances. But I would like to say, on the odd chance that some young girl is reading this, dreaming about her wedding day, I know you can't wait until that special day and I'm sure it will be absolutely beautiful, however, don't rush into it. Don't feel the need to marry the first guy that come's along and treats you right. You deserve someone who give's you the universe. Someone who makes you feel like you are the most beautiful girl in the world. Your wedding day should be the most wonderful day of your life. I don't want you to waste it on a man who doesn't cry on the single most special day of his life.
