Techno dance song with a great beat. I think of this song every time I hear the UPS guy beeping.

This is crazy! My husband asked me to look up this song for him...I started reading the comments and so many people are reminiscing about the good old club days in Houston...he remembers going to all of those clubs too! We still live in H-Town too :)

Nice to see some people still appreciate this... I have the blue vinyl still in mint shape, I think I got mine from Noo Beat records... I'm very fortunate to have had my youth in the Houston scene... first Cars, then the whole gamut of them... Numbers, Therapy, Some, Tower Theater, PowerTools, Hedonism @ Rich's... funny thing is... I bet if I go back to one of those clubs, I'd still find some of my elementary school classmates! Anyways, I owe the Houston scene some gratitude... I ended up having a little electronic music DJ heyday in San Diego, then DJ'd for 4 years in Brazil... all of that started with me hearing a 6400 mix live on the radio as a teenager!

I had the same blue 12 inch record! I bought mine from Record Rack in Montrose. I remember buying my 1st 12 inch single by RIta Mitsouko ( Marcia Baila) I ended up bying hundreds from that place as I also did some DJ gigs. Houston must have been the top for that kind of music because everytime I enter here on KZfaq to find songs, there is always some talking about Numbers, NRG, 6400 , Lizard Lounge, etc.....those were the best days.

I was there too. Don't forget Xcess in the Windsor Plaza. Great memories in H-town. I also have a stack of Maxell tapes recorded of 93Q's Club 6400. I regularly went to 6400 at the original address and at 6130 Richmond after the fire. Rollin' my friends!

This tune takes me back to the old school night life of Houston. It used to be where you can park your car on Westhiemer and take a night stroll down the club scenes. The old Numbers was rocking on Thursday (ladies night). But that have changed now, too much crimes, and you might get picked up by the police or a hooker. (smile)

Yes Houston was on the forefront. Club 6400 started it but before that was HALLS in Austin with the same owner of Riche's back in the hay day. The Houston took off especially after Mayor Whitmyer enforced a city ordinance, no dancing in an establishment after 2am that didn't serve food. So all your after hour bars opened from 12am to whenever....The most popular was Lizard Lounge...Do you know where your children are.....
