Always loved Colm in DS9, but my favorite performance has always been in The Van. Great humor, great story, great characters. Top man.

Chief O’Brien is why I became an engineer and Thomas Durant was the definition of a necessary evil...I need to look into more Irish film because honestly i can’t get enough of Mr. Meaney

What surprises me the most is how low his voice really is! I know him from Star Trek TNG, DS9 and The Snapper (where he did a great North Irish Accent), but his on camera voice on all those shows was a lot higher!

The Snapper was a Dublin accent not northern Irish.

For like 30 years I thought his first name was one syllable & pronounces with a long "O" sound. It was weird for me when I first hesrd it pronouncex like "Column"

It could just be how the host speaks, because he also pronounced “film” as “fillum”

@@stevencramsie9172 Nope. "Colm" has the extra, hidden vowel. It comes from the Irish (Gaelic) language and is pronounced" Collum"

I don't get it, he is like the white Will Smith.... just doesn't age I guess? I mean the guy is what...66 at the time of this interview? he looks like late 30s/early 40s absolutely mental lol.
