個性的な形をした建物、所々に植えられている美しい花々、そして街中を流れている小さな川とそこを行き交う小舟など、この街は景観が良く活気があふれている街だと感じました。このような街は世界中を見ても少ないためか、まるでおとぎ話の世界に飛び込んだかのようにも感じました。やはり、未来永劫このような街は残していくべきですね。

Colmar: An ancient German city of the German Elsaß heartland, with all the typical fairy-tale charm, of hundreds of other German towns, and villages, in the region.

This is not an "ancient German city". It was part of the Holy Roman Empire (which has nothing to do with today's Germany). It has historically and architecturally inherited this past. Alsace should not be considered as a German region, it was independent at the beginning, and became French in 1648!

It has a very nice toy museum and you may have difficulty finding open shops despite the increasing number of tourists on Sundays; It is a city that should not be left without tasting the local wine and the Alsace specialty tarte flambée that goes well with it.

Hello, I've been living in Colmar for a short time and I find this city beautiful. If you have the possibility to come back I advise you to come in December during the Christmas holidays, it's even more beautiful than now! ( I use a translator, I am French :D ). Thank you for this video.

Actually it was independent at the beginning, then French since 1648, and only since 1870 the Germans tried to annex it.
