Good video. Question, are you sure that the criminal background check comes from the country where we have been in for the last three years? Every time I look up the requirements it says the background check needs to come from the country of origin. Do you have an official link about the background needs to be from where we have been for the last three years? Thanks so much 🙂

Great video, i do have a question about the criminal background check. I live in USA, could this document need to be issue by a local police, or a federal police ex: FBI?

Hi, I’m in a process of applying for my visa while in the United States. I’m just a little confused of the medical certificate needed. I have a doctor visit today and wasn’t sure what to tell her that I need it for the purpose of the visa. I have no issues or anything.

Hello there. Your doctor will need to state that you don't suffer any illness and that you are well to live in society. Since you are applying from the US and the Doctor is an american doctor, you will need to get that document notarized, apostilled and officially translated to Spanish. When they mention a criminal background check, would 1 misdemeanor with no jail time ,from 20 years ago, stop someone from getting a retirement visa ? Thank you !

In our experience, they deny visas for people with history even if it was 40 years ago, our recommendation is to submit a specific letter explaining what happened and that now you are a different person. @@capitalemelaw thanks for responding but everything changes in colombia for retirement visa. Renewing every year it costs more one thousand dollars for service agents campany. It is not guaranteed to be approved.
