The answers to the practice questions are below. Just click on "Read more". The first answers are for the review questions at the start of the video and the second set of answers is for the quiz at the end of the video! Review questions at the start of the video 1.Political authority of a state to govern itself 2.This is a sovereign state that is made up of subjects who are relatively homogenous in their language, or culture. The state is made up of primarily one nation of people. There is no perfect nation state, but Japan would be a good example of a Nation State 3.This is the idea that nations, ethnicities have the right to govern themselves. We can see this impacting the world with the creation of states. For example the Kurdish nation has self-determination but does not have a recognized state, this makes them a stateless nation. Other examples of nations having self determination but no state would be the Palestinians, the Basque, or Catalonia's all examples of stateless nations. 4. The process by which a state breaks down due to ethnic conflicts within a state Practice quiz at the end of the video: 1.B 2.D 3.A 4. Created lingua francas, diffused cultures around the world, created modern day political states, and promoted modern culture

You got me interested in your political interpretation in the current events in the world market under Trump and the corporate class leadership. I want to ask your opinion on the prediction of better say alternative crossroads this system is presenting to humanity in the context of the armaments economy. Trotsky predicted well be forced to choose between barbarian devolution if this dominant class remains in power or socialism if the forces of progress succeed. What is your assessment?? The basis for Trotsky prediction is the increasing dependency on war . meaning that the productive forces are turning destructive forces. Back in the 1930s Trotsky made this analysis on the trend the USA was taking. I know this question is not relevant for the issue you present. But I like your platform and hope you give us your opinion.

@@jawadelzein1258 I don't know your personal.motivation for this platform. But I guess is the natural instinct of your soul to search for answers to the problematic of humanity in its coexisting and conflicting in a society in evolution and constantly failing to find a better system or better social contract that may respond to the human need of survival and set aside oppression and inequality. To put an and to the sociopathic nature of the political dominant classes . The search for understanding and progress. I used to be a teacher of history and literature in Mexico. My profound hate to oppression and the search for justice and answers took me from Siddartha to Marx passing through so many other brains of history. I know you know the era is giving birth to a new social organism. This one is obsolete and humanity is a progressive and destructive force. And the crossroads is imperative in the choosing. Barbaric chaotic destruction or a new better world .

@@georgefurman4371 wow that explains why your so good with vocab, you were a teacher. And you seem like a very serious and sad person young man. I didn't get half the things you said but I think you were trying to insult me. Honestly you wrote to much so I skimmed most of the stuff you said. My personal motivation for this platform is entertainment but i told myself for this week to learn as much as possible on it for my test. And your from mexico? Thats cool, im from lebanon, nice to meet you George Furman. And your a literacy teacher and still have run on sentences smh. Im not a literacy teacher so you can't say anything about my spelling but you have no excuse young man. Talk to you later amigo got to finish topics 4.4-4.10 for ap human

@@jawadelzein1258 I never imagined such a mediocre kind of reply to an honest desire for a mutual contribution. I am this time in my optimism for humanity capacity to learn , disappointed at your lack of comprehension skills not so helped by some good grammar . if it's fun and entertainment you seek. Look for the Comedy Central platform. They will help you. You just proved the mediocrity of your human condition by judging my persona instead of finding the positive in the issue . not in me . I don't need or have use for your opinion. Is worthless to me in that way you choose to reply. Good luck with life lebanese.

@@tofoo72 i like how you only pointed out their “spelling errors” that were actually not errors at all instead of the use of “u”. using u in place of you is also slang but i just found it funny that you didn’t point out the only technically wrongly spelled word 💀
@tofoo72
@tofoo72 2 жыл бұрын
@@pieceaisa5046 First off, they weren't spelling errors, the first one was slang and the other one was grammatically incorrect. I didn't point out "u" because it's a very commonly used abbreviation of "you". Plus, why are you defending the guy that's being rude? If I wanted to be rude I'd also point our your grammar errors but I only did that to him because he was being annoying.

1: B 2: D 3. A 4. How Colonialism and Imperialism shaped the world. Most of the boundaries made by European countries still exist today. Acts of Colonialism and Imperialism helped spread religions, ideas, and customs. Boundaries drawn by colonizers caused tensions to arise between native ethnic groups Some colonizers vanquished the local populations entirely. Whole nations were wiped off the face of the earth.
