I relate so much to the trees in the distance thing. When I got glasses for the first time (horribly near sighted) my dad parked us by a librairy to drop off some books and I sat in the car waiting and I just realized that this tree I've always loved looking at was actually THREE TREES. my mind was blown.

This was me when I got glasses at 16. My brain was so used to everything being slightly blurry that seing the world in HD was just too much and back then my eyes weren't even that bad. I also have friends who have this kind of colorblindness and of them wanted to be an electrician just like Me, he wasn't allowed to start his apprenticeship because it can be actually dangerous if you can't recognize the difference between yellow and free or even brown. It was heart breaking to see him so down. He had to change his dreams because he didn't even know that he is colorblind before this test.

that is a bit silly to think. Even people who can see colour perfectly will sometimes just do grayscale mediums or just use labelled paints.

Also tell them in the animation studio I work at one of the artists is colour blind and does the initial concepts in grey scale and they have a colourist to work with him. Really there are tons of jobs in art, animation and comics where colour isn't a requirement.

I know this girl who can't see colour at all. She has monochromatic colourblindness and she is an amazing artist especially at greyscale. When she does colour drawings she picks out what she thinks is the right colours based on the greys she see and then gets someone to check if they are the colour she thinks they are and the final pieces are amazing

Just a note, the glasses work by polarising color, so for him red and green are still the same, but it brighten and darkens colors who should contrast. So when he is out of sunlight it doesn't work. Think of colorblind as being in the middle of the night and trying to pick out if the shirt on the floor is dark blue or red, it kinda mashes together. That what it is

Mine is like this. It's not as hard as these people are saying. Half of a good relationship is you. Just have a mindset of thankfulness, and try to keep yourself awake to the now. That's my biggest advice. I try my best to wake myself up and see exactly how lucky I am as often as possible. Much love and respect to you all.

Guys....this is like the cutest video ever. My heart is overwhelmed every time Adam looks at his stupid little leaves. I want people to throw money at you so you can get the indoor ones because Adam’s exploration and discovery of colors is just so full of wonder and hope. Make a gofundme for the indoor glasses, if they're only 300, only around 1 in 100 of your subscribers need to donate for them. I love this content because it really helps to inform others of colorblindness while also being fun and cute to watch.

My dads friend is the guy who found these. It was a complete accident working on laser optics and he noticed the brightening thing Steph noticed. Then he thought it might help color blind people its been an awesome ride watching the technology take off!
