I’m either going with a satin black vinyl wrap on my C7 hood, or the same matte black PPF that you are using. It’s a summer driver car. It doesn’t look like much difference in color between the two, but is one better for doing the hood which gets heat? Thank you for this video

Precision Line knifeless tape by 3M uses a steel string and is designed for ppf. It pops really easy like Design Line so I always cut the filament with my blade first instead of "popping" the string. Great video!

Door hinges are torqued to very high numbers and of course often the hinges are painted over as well. Removing a door to put film on it seems stupid and I would never buy a car that has door jambs wrapped.
