I use soft tips on myself all the time, you really do need to buff the tip before you put any gel on them or it will peel off. I love solid gels. Modleones recommends priming your brush with clear gel before you use it on the solid gels, I have found it helps

I notice if I don’t buff them before base coat or polish they peel off. So I always buff. Thank you for showing these solid crème gels!! They look amazing.

Love them! Excellent ombre. I love the jelly ombre with the foil glitters. Definitely a step above just a glitter.

I love this design! Also, it's amazing to see how well diversed the colors are in these color palettes, I should try one of these solid gel colors one day, they seem way easier to use than gel polish👀

I’m loving the ombré with the solid gel colours. I actually have them solid gels and I think there great but I never thought of doing ombré with the glitter gel’s (I’ll now be doing a ombré with the same gel’s). As you’re right what you say. The actual colour of the glitter gels are transparent in colour, so they do ombré very well. I remember getting a gold gel and it’s the best glitter gold gel I’d ever had. After further inspection I realised that it wasn’t glitter in the gel but tiny piece’s of gold foil. And it’s the best gold glitter gel i own. And again the colour in the gel was like a transparent gold. VENALISA is the name of the product I’m talking about. It’s the gold coloured gel, it’s absolutely amazing and I would go so far as to say the best gold gel I’ve ever owned. It would be nice to know what you think of that gel also. And also it’s not cheap stuff like a lot of products are. VENALISA is solid gel.

I got the same gel kit last month and the coffin tips are much longer than the ones you have. Now I'm going to have to try the pallets too! I got a mini one from Born Pretty and really love how smooth it came out.

The gel palettes are really nice! I have a few of the Modelones palletes and I was disappointed. I’ve recently started using the Aprés Gel X soft gel extensions and love them! I’ve been buffing the underside of tips for prep but will use acetone next time. It’s hard to buff with an efile on a size 7 tip and smaller. Great video as always!

I’ve seen nail techs use a thin coat of primer also. Instantly prepped surface without any buffing of any kind. I’ve done it, too, and it works well. No etching like with acetone. Warm wishes from Minnesota!

you should try xtens nail system. they are the original creator of the full cover gel system, their extensions are pre roughened and a whole lot cheaper than gel x

There's also "INPING soft gel tips" which are great priced & already etched but acetone eats away the tip a lil bit which leaves it etched which is fine too. ❤️

I buy full matte nails on Amazon. They come pre-buffed on the back and front so no need for acetone or an e-file. The ones I use are Una Gella brand. I use the Beetles 4 in 1 nail glue/base coat to adhere them and they last forever. Good luck!

@@leonaparks5861 I like that brand and prefer the "pre-sanded" ones too. And I like to use the really long nails and cut them off. So much easier to hold them on for curing. And yes, the Beetles gel glue works great!

I used the Modelones pallet and hated it :( the application is so hard and not consistent. Strokes lines and peeling.

These are such small portions. I prefer large portions. per color. This is more like a sample size. Not for me.

Не умеешь раскладывать гель возле кутикулы… мажешь много под кутикулу, от того мучаешь сама себя… мало того: объясни для чего ты клеишь типсы таааак близко под кутикулу? Через пару дней там будет ступенька после отрастания!
