Welcome to our Color page in 5 mins tutorial. In this quick video we'll take a look at each of the main elements of the color page in DaVinci Resolve, walking you through the tools to get you on your way to coloring your project!

Casey Faris.. you have an incredible teaching style that has a huge impact. Your little jokes in between crack me up too. Keep up the good work man and thanks for all of your hard work trying to teach newbies. Man...your teaching really makes super-sense to me. I love your quick explanations as you're going through. It helps to not get lost! Like when you add a "Serial" node. You said it's just a "node" that comes after another. Immediately, it clicked, like with books. Thanks, Casey! ;)

The adjustment clip affects all beneath it so it can be used for color correction of entire timeline if you stretch it across.

How about making a video on the recommended way to do J and L cuts in Resolve? Currently un-link audio from video and make the adjustments then re-link. Is there a better way?

Flames in the end should've been blue and neon pinkish/green - so that could've set the stage for the most anticipated sequel to this awesome short nifty color grading tutorial - how to add blue/pink/green flames to your videos with DR! Missed opportunity :). On a more boring note...how to apply a color grade from one clip to ALL the clips?

Definitely not, at least not if you're planning to make a living with your videos. Just the tiniest adjustments in color correction, white balance, saturation, etc. can make your video look a MILLION times better.

Bro this tab is useless as hell. Why is this even a thing I mean. Why not just use the frickin Edit tab to adjust colors. And All the color that comes out of this tab is so bad like. Sometime it's too dark and sometime it's too light like, bro it's so useless and so hard to learn god dang it I hate color
